First, I want to say that I buy unknown brands of pencils to try them out & maybe find a quality budget pencil I can recommend to people & also use for coloring rather than use my professional pencils. These pencils looked a lot like Deli brand pencil from Japan which I happen to love so I thought I would give them a try. I was a little worried at first when I started swatching them because a few of the lighter colors felt a little waxy but when pencils are going through the line they can get a film over them & a lot of lead is glued into the barrel so it's always good to sharpen them to make sure there's no coating over the lead. I was more pleasantly surprised at the lay down of these pencils & could definitely tell they were more of an oil based lead. Now ALL colored pencils have wax in them that's part of the formula to hold their shape/binder then they can be more oil based or they can go completely wax based. These definitely feel and layer as oil based. I could layer upon layer with these! Even after I burnished & completely pressed as hard as I could not even breaking a tip I went over it with another color & it still took more color! There was no bloom of course & the colors are vibrant. The pencils feel very dry not soft like Prismacolor but they are a more firm pencil. I would say they are between a Polychromos and. Derwent Drawing Pencil which is one of my new favorites.The Cons for this set are just the color ranges. I wish there were more flesh tones and more light colors. There are a lot of deep colors in this set. Also more yellows and browns would be good too.The pencil feels very light in your hand & that's because of the wood...this is a problem you need to be careful with but if you have a good pencil sharpener you will be fine. The wood isn't the easiest to sharpen. Overall I really like these pencils they blended beautifully and layered over 10 layers & could still keep going!

I have more colored pencil sets than I care to admit. I have been a professional colored pencil artist since 2002. They are certainly a passion of mine. I have to say, working with these pencils was a delightful surprise. I wasn't expecting too much as they are one of many lower priced pencil sets here on Amazon but when I started working with them on my sketch paper, I really fell in love with the color saturation and feel of them. I discovered there were one or two pencils that were on the "scratcher" or drier side but nothing that was a real issue. I like them so much I'm going to buy a second set!

The good: smooth and good rich pigment, blends well, good price. These may not be top tier but they are good.The bad: pencil breakage, the wood is awful I couldn't even sharpen the pencils because the point kept breaking. I do not know if the cause was the shipping or just bad colored pencils.Update: I was able to contact the seller and received a replacement. It was also well packaged this time. Unlike castle arts colored pencils where there were major problems the customer service did absolutely nothing for me. I do not know if that has changed but with any products if the after service doesn't come through it's a total scam and a deal breaker.

upon first impression, I really did like these colored pencils!but to take it from the start, there was misspelling on the front of the tin (which, by the way is very easily bendable, dents can easily be created by pushing or pulling). then, when I first opened the tin, I came to notice the pencils were not organized neatly (the Color families were mixing up and the numbers were not matching. i reorganised them for these pictures)what made me fall in love at the start was how easily these pencils blended, and they did it almost effortlessly. not only this, but the Colors layered overtop themselves vibrantly and without needing too much pressure whatsoeverhowever, somehow as time went on I noticed myself reaching for these pencils less and less because 1) they got less bendable over time, 2) they started causing the paper to tear as the colours were being layered and 3) they break EXTREMELY easily, and are horrible to sharpen for that reason.in the end I would definitely choose a brand such as rose art over these unfortunately:(i also would like to see a change in shade expansion for this brand — please do less blues and browns and way more reds and pinks and yellows!!

Only giving 3 stars, colors were good, silky feel while coloring, glides over the page. Big issue is the leads. On over half the pencils I used the leads would break after sharpening using a T'gaal sharpener. It would take 4-5 tries before I could use the pencil. I have one that within one day went normal sized to too small to color with, others are getting just as small already. If you can gently? sharpen maybe they'll work for you.

The pencils are ok. But they are too much like other sets. Fine for very beginner colorist. Too close to Arteza brand.

I like these even better than prismacolor. Just as good producing a rich vibrant layer of color with breaking when they are sharpened. I always used Prismacolor but was frustrated with how often the tip would break when I sharpened them. So much of the pencil was wasted plus the extra time sharpening them . These don't break and work just as well.

These colored pencils are in a very sturdy metal box. They are quite vibrant in color and a great quality. My daughter Ed loved them as a Christmas gift !!! Five stars !!!!

Alles Bestens. Die Federmäppchen schützt die Stifte perfekt. Die Farben der Stifte sind intensiv und gut zu variieren.Diese Farbstifte sind großartig! Selbst wenn man die Stifte nur sehr leicht in der Hand hält, malen sie einwandfrei.Kaufempfehlung!

Los acabo de recibir y encantada. Puntualidad, ni un rasguño, buen diseño y presentación. Merecen mucho la pena, tienen la dureza justa para pintar con un trazo definido y no dejan residuos.Me gusta mucho el diseño, agradezco que solo el culete de los lápices sea de color y el resto del cuerpo en negro, esto es cuestión de gustos pero para la vista me resulta más cómodo y rápido de localizar el color deseado.Para dibujo de dia a dia o profesional sin duda los recomiendo. No se rompe la punta y funcionan de maravilla. Muchisimos colores! Volveré a comprar de esta empresa!

Alle Stifte und Zubehör wirken sehr hochwertig und liegen gut in der Hand.Der Farbauftrag der Buntstifte ist satt, ohne dass man groß Druck auf die Stifte ausüben muss. Auch das Vermischen klappt ohne Probleme.In dem Set sind die wichtigsten Grundfarben enthalten. Ich finde sie schön kräftig und die Pigmente lösen sich in Verbindung mit Wasser sehr schnell und gut auf.Mir und meiner Tochter gefällt dieses Set, da es hochwertige Produkte liefert, die gleich angewendet werden können. Zudem finde ich das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis bei diesem Set sehr gut.

Auf jeden Fall brauchbare Stifte mit toller Farbauswahl!Auf dem Foto sieht man auch meine erster Versuch, eine einfache Farbskizze von einem Augen.Die Stifte sind sehr hart, aber bis jetzt hat blenden gut geklappt. Auch bei etwas festerem Aufdruecken ist nichts abgebrochen, aber bei laengerem Arbeiten mit Stiften ist es durchaus normal, wenn mal was abbricht.Die Auswahl ist super, man bekommt echt viel fuer sein Geld. Vorallem auch die Blei- und Blendestifte sind sehr gut und nuetzlich !!Besonders fuer Anfaenger, die was nicht ganz kostspieliges suchen, empfehle ich das Set sehr. Vollkommen in Ordnung.

Habe den Künstlerkoffer von amzon als Geschenk bestellt. Der Reißverschluss-Tasche ist wunderschön und einwandfrei verarbeitet und kam gut verpackt und unbeschädigt bei mir an. Die Stifte und das restliche Material sind von toller Qualität. Die grosse Auswahl ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Ein tolles Set nicht nur für Profi-Zeichner, sondern auch für menschen, die ernsthaft mit dem Zeichnen beginnen wollen. Ein großartiges Geschenk für jeden, der gern mit hochwertigen Stiften arbeitet.
