Great Fathers Day Gift for the cook
Purchased as a Fathets Day gift for our son who enjoys cooking unique meals. He was very excited to receive this gift. Although heavy, it looks to be of great quality. Looking forward to experiencing our first meal cooked on this salt Block.

It works perfectly!
Grilled on these immediately after getting them for Christmas and they worked beautifully, the meat didn’t taste overly salty it seemed to be perfectly seasoned! My new “go-to” gift!

Cracked after the second use
Not the best quality followed all of the directions. It has cracked after two times times of being used not happy with this product.

There are NO instructions included with this.
I was hoping to give a few of these as gifts after reading up about the multiple uses for it. The packaging isn't nice for a gift, but that didn't really bother me, it kept the salt block safe and secure. Put together with the tray it is nice overall - HOWEVER with NO instructions re: how to prep, clean or even use it, the recipient wouldn't know what the heck to do with the thing. Needs to include some kind of instruction booklet!

Good Size
As others have mentioned, there are no instructions with this salt block. I used directions I found on another suppliers page to season it. It took a few hours, but so far so good! We used it to cook shrimp the other day. They were salty, but it was our first cook. I’m hoping future bbq’s will be less salty, as our last block was. It is a good size and seems to be a good quality for the price. Time will tell.

Came chipped
The corner was chilled off and there’s a crack down the middle which makes it look as if it’s going to break into 2 soon
