Now, I am not one to write reviews (all reviews on my amazon page are from my wife) but I need to warn people that may buy this for thier boat to see Channel markers at night. This is great if you do not use it in a boat (maybe). Relying on this product to see at night almost got me in a bad position. I was fishing right outside the inlet in the ocean and when the wind changed and things got rough, I went to pull out my BRAND NEW only used 2 times before spotlight. The light got stuck in the police light mode and strobe and no matter how many times I pushed the buttons, or did anything the light would not work. In an effort to try and make it so I could see the jetty rocks, I smacked the back to see if I could get the light to work, the glass fell out of the front of the light and left sharp glass on my boats deck, (100% not shatter proof) I then could not get the light to turn on. I was literally in PITCH BLACK 100 feet away from jeti rocks with now no light. I was fortunate to have spreader lights in my center console that I had not installed yet that I was able to splice and put on my boats battery to be able to attempt to see but spreader lights are not spotlights and that is why I had this spotlight on board. I was in fear and this tool despite saying waterproof is a LIE. do not buy this product for your boat unless it's a backup to a backup spotlight.

Have had this item for less than a year. It wasn't expected to be used very often so I made sure to keep it in the original packaging so I could make sure I had the right charger for it. It has a very bright light and was used for some evening light on kayak fishing. I went to charge it for the third time yesterday and it did not work. I thought maybe I did something wrong so I checked instructions and found I was right and tried again. Plugged it in, red light came on showing battery was low and left it for about 8 hours. When I checked it the light was still red and I tried to turn it on. No light, no power. I electric testers and find the charger is working. The light / battery is not charging. I rate this as no durability and no battery life.

This spotlight is already been a life saver. Right after it arrived in the mail a buddy of mine called and said his water line busted under his how and needed some help fixing it. I crawled under the house with this spotlight and it worked amazingly! First off the spot light works as expected with two settings. The best part was while the beam was shining on the leak needing to be fixed, the sidelight feature lit up my work area so I could actually see what I was doing. I came home and threw in on the charger, no idea if it was even low, and was ready to use it the next night around the house. Overall I am very pleased with this one!

I was looking for a good powerful flashlight on Amazon and came across this . It was about what I was looking for and promised BIG things . So I took the leap and bought it . When I received it I was a little taken back by the weight , it was extremely light and in my experience light means cheap . I charged it up and was still skeptical of its ability . I took this out to my camp and when it got dark I aimed it at my backstop at 100 yds away . WOW holy Camolie . It lit up my backstop like a stage light !! If I could see that far I could have read the paper at 100 yds . This light throws a very structured round dot of light , at 100 yds I would estimate that the light circle was 30 to 40 feet across and almost as bright as day at 100 yds !! A perfect circle of light . I also purchased a 50000 cp spot light and this little lite gives the 50K a run for its money , no kidding ! ( 100 yds) The only thing I dont like is the 2 press buttons , it has 2 settings for each lite ( the side area lite and the spot ) you must go through the 2 stages to shut it off so if you want high press once if you want low press twice but you have to run through the stages every time , no big deal really . Very impressed with this little lite would recommend Only thing I cannot attest to is its durability only had it for a couple months but so far so good . Also I cannot say how long battery last I have not taken it to that limit yet .

Don't waste your money! The instructions are correct - you have to charge for 12 hours. But it doesn't stay charged for 30 minutes. We live in the country and I need to check in our yard before letting our Pug out at night. I used this light to supplement the lights mounted on the house. It's on for 5 minutes at most and lasts maybe two nights then has to be charged again. I'm looking for another light after 2 weeks.
