The book arrived on time.

I'll admit I enjoy buying style books. I don't actually need a lot of help styling myself, but reading about fashion and style is a fun pastime for me. I read style books like other women read "chick lit" (which I can't stand) - think beach/vacation reading.In that vein, reading Rachel Zoe's book was a great escape. Beautiful photos, fun commentary and, actually, a couple of really good ideas. I loved the section on clothing, shoe and jewelry storage. And I didn't expect the book to address interior decorating, so that was an unexpected treat. (Modernism isn't my personal style, but it was really interesting to learn a little about the subject.) At $10 and change through amazon, this book is a bargain. It didn't change my life, but it was fun to flip through in the bathtub!

Informative, yes. Magical, yes. Written happily with joy, yes. You can pick it up at any point, so keep it by your bed. Re-read & refer often. A treasure trove of good ideas and personal experience by one of the top stylists in Hollywood. And definitely fun to read.

I love watching her show ... and no I don't love her - it would hard to miss the over the top obsession with so much of what doesn't matter. But it is impossible to deny she has a keen eye and great sense of fashion. I bought the book for the insight into what pieces are necessary for great looks and "how to" put together the "Zoe" style. There is some useful information but too much of the book is a an infomercial. Too much to pay for what it is and it isn't what it claims to be.

I bought this book because I am a fan of Rachel Zoe, and fashion/style in general, and I am really pleased with it overall! I read some reviews that ragged on it, saying that all Rachel wanted to do was flaunt her socialite life and the people she knew - but in my opnion, having now read the book, it is more about gaining a worldly sense of personal style and glamour - even with jeans and a t-shirt. If that happens to be through the words of Jennifer Garner or Michael Kors, then so be it! I am GLAD she included these celebrity testimonials - they make even the most normal of us feel connected to their world. I think some people have the idea that style is for a high class, elite group of people and is so unattainable in real life. False. This book gives you inspiration to express your glamourous side even on your day off of work.If you love fashion, style, culture, beautiful things, inspiration, Rachel Zoe or anything mah-jor - this book is definitely for you!

Arrived on time and in good condition. Book is okay. I am a fan of the show and the book is not "banana's".....I like to scan it every once in a while. I bought another one of her books as well. Funny I forgot the same and cant remember whats in it....haaa...Guess the book is not that great, but I enjoyed the pictures.I really do like The Little Black Book of Style from Nina Garcia book with tips, tricks classic items every woman should own......nice to scan every once in a while for a refresher.

If you like Project Rachel Zoe - you'll love this book! It's a light-hearted and fun book filled with many bits and pieces of Rachel Zoe herself. If you're a hater - then please don't even bother. The book is full of fun little tidbits, advice, and anecdotes from her own life. I completely get her and her obsession with fashion and the excess lifestyle. But then again, I work in fashion and you have to appreciate the lighter things in life. It was a delightful little read and great coffee table book.

If you love RZ you will love this book. I look it over frequently for tips but then again, my style is a lot like hers. I think if you're a fashionista or like her TV show you will like it because it is a great fashion book but if you already don't look her this book is quite personal so it might not be for you. Her story is inspiring though, the pictures are great and I like how it includes tips for being fashionable in all areas of your life, not just your clothes.

If you are a fan of Rachel Zoe's personal style you will love this book. Much more practical (useful) for the average person than her newer book is, as this one discusses certain looks and what to wear, and what not to wear, etc. Got this one Used (Like New) and it arrived in pristine condition :)

D'ailleurs, j'ai adoré aussi son deuxième livre "Living in style".

I didn't know her before buying this book, it was really a purchase at random. But I was struck by her ability to give very helpful suggestions on how to improve your style. Really, I found the book very helpful, the text is excellent, pictures are also chosen with care.

Zwar finde ich Rachel Zoe nicht so überwältigend gut aussehend wie die Schauspielerinnen und Sängerinnen, die sie für Oscarshows und Grammies eingekleidet hat, aber ihre Tipps sind auf jeden Fall überdenkenswert. Und das eine oder andere kann man auch für sich anwenden. Es geht bei ihr um den eigenen Stil nicht nur bei Parties sondern vor allem im "Every Day Life". Manches versteht sich von alleine, wie etwa die Beachtung von Stilregeln im Büro, anderes ist dann aber wieder ein Hinweis darauf, wie man sich von seiner Umgebung ein wenig absetzen kann. Und das Wenige macht dann den Unterschied, wobei es auch oft nur ganz einfache Mittel und Wege sind, die Rachel Zoe dabei beschreibt.Außerdem merkt man beim Lesen, dass hinter der Einstellung zu Glamour und Stil bei ihr eine große Wertschätzung für die Modedesigner, für ihre Umgebung und nicht zuletzt auch für ihre Eltern steht, die ihr ein Gefühl für Mode und Stil vermittelt haben.
