ONCU - Hot Pepper Paste ( 700g ) - Öncü Acı Biber Salçası

This pepper paste is handy for spicing up various recipes. I recently bought a bottle in Cheltenham and was delighted to find it at a reasonable price on the Amazon site. I collected my order a short while ago and was dismayed to find that the bottle was shattered. Fortunately, it was in bubble wrap (see photo) and did not leak onto the accompanying packages of coffee.After five attempts at speaking to a human being at Amazon, I eventually managed to get a refund via the 'chat assistant'. If our commercial future - any future! - is with AI, then heaven protect us!!!So... to repeat myself... Five stars for this product, not my order.

A Rick Stein inspired purchase. I bought this rather than Biber Salçasi because I thought it would be less spicy. It has more of a kick than I was expecting, not unpalatable, but still tickles the back of the throat. A word of caution: that 700g jar is larger than I envisaged. It ended up going mouldy in a very cool fridge. If I buy this again, I'll freeze half of it.

I love this tomato puree

I used it in so many foods and i still have half of jar left. It's very intensely flavoured, pretty bitter actually and at first that put me off a little bit. But that's the thing, you only have to use a couple of teaspoons and the food tastes like peppers. I use it in soups, stews, pasta sauce, pizza sauce etc

This product was totally smashed inside the bubblewrap inside the box, I would like a replacement or a refund please

Thought this looked like ordinary tomato puree but when you add it to the pot wow it makes a difference - so rich! Lovely and ordered more
