I have been using the Zelo smoothing system for around three years now. After moving from the west coast to the east coast, I really didn't know what to do with my hair with all the rain and inclement weather since I prefer straightened hair. I got mixed results from the reviews. I was skeptical since I have really thick natural hair. I ordered the kit and cleared the morning to apply it. When the kit arrived, I noted the small bottles and thought that there was no way I would be able to cover my entire head with the solution. Well I was able to get a little all over and then used a plastic bag to let it seep in. It took a little over two hours from start to finish. I noticed a bit of a chemical smell, so I made sure that I opened the windows to allow fresh air to flow. I noticed a looser curl pattern immediately. My hair was easier to manage and it lasted over three months. After washing, blow drying and styling is easy and fast as opposed to a struggle without the keratin treatment. Now that I have been using a while, I do notice that my hair has grown a lot. I attribute the growth to the fact that this product causes you to take better care of your hair. I wash my hair in between uses with keratin shampoo and conditioner. I noticed a little dryness at first. So now I use argon oil, keratin oil, or V05 daily when styling my hair. I trim my ends every other month as well. I will continue to use this product since it is the best straightening product that I have found in quite some time.

I’m sure these 4 stars will become 5 after I see the condition of my hair in a few days. I’m 41 yo w very fine hair. I stopped relaxing my hair last year but couldn’t wear it straight because of frizz and poofing at the root. The shampoo had me skeptical at first because my hair was a bit hard but it softened as it dried. The straightener burned my scalp a bit but not resulting in any damage. After blow drying I noticed how soft and shiny my hair was. Flat ironing made it silky and smooth. I’m really happy with my results and this product. Will use again.

This is my third time buying this product I love how the way feels so my hair keeps the straight looks fantastic a couple of months access for six months but mines actually will last for four months and the price went up I think it should go down back to the $40 that it was but other than that girls rocket do it get your hair looking nice I’m happy with mines ! 🇵🇷🇱🇷

This stuff made my hair smell like dead animal after every shampoo.. the smell has yet to go away. I will never buy something like this from online again. The smell will not leave my hair...

I’m not quite sure I like this. I’ve used a previous brand twice and I actually prefer that brand over this one. Sure, this was only $10 cheaper than my preferred brand, but this doesn’t come with anything needed besides gloves. My hair seems frizzier before I put the product in. This one only lasts up to 12 washes. If you wash your hair every day, that’s only 12 days. I can get 2-3 months out of the other brand.My hair is highlighted, coarse, thick, frizzy and curly. I prefer a straightening kit to help with frizz and dryness. I *might* change my review after another wash in a few days.But I don’t think I’ll come back to this brand. It’s not that great.

After using Coppola Hair Keratin, which is great, for 2 years, I decided to ave some money & buy this. Big mistake. After applying this product my hair was fine, at first. About a month later it felt like straw & started breaking off. I had to cut my shoulder length hair into a bob. It was a cute hair cut but I wasn't planning on it. Not to mention I had been growing my hair out for 3 years. My hair did not like this product at all! I'm back with Coppola. I cannot recommend it.

Changing my original review. My hairdresser put this on again and did not color it at the same time. Plus I made sure not to brush or tie up for the first two weeks. That worked really well and it has lasted 8 months on my natural hair. I alternate between wearing it flat ironed straight and curly using foam rods for a curly no heat style.

Love Love Love this product...I am over 50 and my hair has changed so much in the past 10 years ..my curly soft hair is gone and I now have gray wirey hair..so completely unruly in bad weather and so hard to work with...I found zelo and I am so pleased...it totally softens the wirey feel to my hair and I dont run from a hot humid day...it does not make my hair too straight (I hate that look) It makes my hair easier to deal with....thank goodness
