Could not get the right driver
I took a chance on this as an emergency replacement for a receipt printer that gave out after 7 or 8 years of heavy use. They sent a copy of the driver on a CD but it was not the correct one for this model. I went online and the links to the driver for this model actually downloaded drivers to a different model. I tried to see if it would work since both CD and website had this driver, but after half a day of fighting with it, I had enough and returned it. I bought the newer model of the printer that died and it installed without any issues.

Driver is hiding in plain sight...
I spent hours trying to find the driver. It is in the user guide... It is a dropbox link within a PDF. There are two links on the amazon page. One for the manual (which takes you to the wrong download page) and one for the user guide (which is what you want). Once you find that this printer actually works very well. You can also find the drivers on github if you look at the user pilotkid in their repos is a copy of all the files needed. Once I got the drivers installed it worked great

Chinese garbage
Opening ports and computer intrusive. Dont buy. Security siftware blocked everything I tried to install.Edit: After installing it a few times, playing with settings, it works out great.
