Pete the Cat and the Surprise Teacher (My First I Can Read)

Pete the Cat books are such cute little stories. They are 1st through 2nd grade reading in Accelerated Reader. The kiddos love them because of the humor, bright illustrations, and just the right amount of text.They are read for Accelerated Reader or checked out of the library daily.

My daughter is going into 1st grade and this was required for summer reading. It’s a cute story and we have already read it several times!

My kids love Pete the Cat, and their teachers introduced them to the series of books. As they are in kindergarten learning to read, these 'My First I Can Read' levels are perfect for them.

My son loves anything Pete the Cat! He reads a Pete story every night. Highly recommend starting at Pre-k level, books are less than 5 minutes read.

My son loves this series of books. It was a reasonable price compared to other places that have these books.

We LOVE Pete the Cat in our house and this book met/exceeded our high expectations!!! Easy reader (too easy for my daughter but she LOVES Pete!) and sweet story!!

Pete the cat is great in any book. We love his silly character and enjoy reading about his adventures.
