This really works and works well!
I never liked the typical packaging of microwave popcorn. It was greasy to the touch, hot, and easy to burn yourself while opening or even touching, very often half the kernels were left unpopped. So, I gave up. Recently, I saw a news article on this company's product for popping corn in an eco-friendly, user-friendly, reusable box and I sent for it immediately. The item comes covered with instructions. These people really want you to use it correctly and safely. The instructions are very clear on how to open the box and remove the individual popcorn bags inside before using. They clearly tell you what is product wrapping to be discarded and what is not to be removed. So, I made popcorn. The instructions state that it will take between 1.5 and 4 minutes to pop the popcorn and to stop the microwave before the popping it completely stopped, just like the usual bags. Everyone's microwave is a little different so my first attempt was a guess on the time.I set the timer for 2.5 minutes, set the box on the edge of the turntable and watched. (Never leave popcorn unattended while microwaving. I learned this after several fire alarms going off where I worked as people left the room while popping corn...) As it popped, the cover of the box slowly moved up with the expanding contents. After 2.5 minutes, I took out the box. The popping was just beginning to slow. I might have gone for 3 minutes but stuck with the 2 for this run. The box was not hot, just warm. I set it down on the counter and slid the top up and off. There was no steam. No kernels were burned. There was about a tablespoon of kernels left in the bottom of the box which the instructions say to leave there for the next use. The popcorn was perfectly done and ready to be flavored if that's your thing. No waste in the landfill and great popcorn! We need to support and thank these people for their effort!I'm going to purchase one for each of my kids!

Worlds Best Popcorn
This is by far the best microwave popcorn ever. Easy to pop and drizzling olive oil and sea salt and cheese on it is the best

Perfectly delicious! Some notes, though.
UPDATE: We've used our box 10 times with different microwaves on our roadtrip from NY to CO. Popcorn is absolutely delicious. So much less greasy, salty, orange-y. Really, really Good. Some microwaves were small, and at the place we finally stayed in CO, the turntable was broken. This all added up to mean the box isn't holding up perfectly, but we're still very satisfied. The two cardboard inserts that fit in the bottom are warped, so some unpopped kernels can slip out before starting, so we're careful in getting it into the microwave. The kernels get into the crevice and pop, which probably why it's warped. A kind-of solution is that yesterday, I cut up the insert that holds the unpopped corn and used that in the bottom of the box. It's made of the same un-treated, un-printed cardboard, and it worked well. I will definitely buy this for our travel and vacation popcorn, but ultimately, it's too expensive for everyday use. I'm still a stovetop woman. We've only used this once, but if it holds up, this is an amazing product. It's fantastic watching it pop! Great design, no heavy fats and plastics and crazy stuff, just delicious fresh-popped corn. We're going to try really hard to take good care of it on our road trip so we can popcorn like home, despite being far away. These people did a great job making something useful, clever, and environmentally responsible.

Great flavor! tricky top opening
The top is a little too tricky for some of my family. Because you have to unfold the top in sequence. But really I loved it till the last batch! Of course the last batch did burn

Best Popcorn Ever!!
I tried this popcorn a bit hesitantly, seemed initially like it was going to be a pain to make and but sure it would be worth it. Was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to make and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. But the best part is the taste. Nice fluffy white popcorn. I use a misto sprayer to spray Olive oil and then sprinkle sea salt and voila, delicious healthy popcorn. No extra ingredients or chemicals. I've converted my husband and mom and coworkers!! Back to buy more! Thank you to a family business that made this much needed product!

I really wanted to love this...
The popcorn is excellent, and the popper was great... Until about the 8th time using it. It started getting burnt on the inside, no matter how much I kept shortening the popping time. It came apart once and I had to put it back together, which was simple, but then it wouldn't lay right and kernels kept getting under the cardboard, popcorn falling out the bottom. It became more of a hassle and I threw it out. It's an awesome concept, but a little flimsy and not sure how long it's really supposed to last, but I'd hoped it would work until the popcorn was gone, but no. There's a purple silicone or something type of popup bowl here on Amazon that works well, I suggest getting that with some good organic popcorn and only using the bowl to pop, not eat out of or put anything in other than the popcorn. The popcorn that comes with this popper is great, so if they offer it for sale I would not hesitate buying it. Try this popper if you want, maybe it will work better for you. I got about 6 uses out of it that made great popcorn, but I won't be buying it again.

Wacky. Wonderful.
I was looking for plain microwave popcorn and stumbled onto this and decided to try it. The whole popper system is very strange at first, but you figure it out. Put a bag of popcorn into the magic box and microwave for a couple-few minutes (2:22 worked great for me, but as they say, "all microwaves are different").Lots more popped corn fits into that box than I realized, so I grabbed the wrong sized bowl. Not a bad problem. The popped corn is as plain as can be, and it's been a long time since I've had truly plain popcorn, so it sort of tasted "too plain" at first, but I pretty quickly realized that was exactly what I'd wanted: plain popcorn. I spritzed some olive oil on it and a bit of parmesan, and it's excellent. It's really good corn, and I'm so happy to have stumbled onto this wacky but wonderful product.
