This expansion is way better than the first one. It is a game changer, literally! Would recommend.

Most of the modules in this expansion is just a repeat of the modules from the shy pluto expansion, which are fun but its useless if you already own shy pluto expansion, the only benefit here is the new cardboard pluto card that replaces the original paper thin one.The new way to get ship tokens and how you slide cards before refilling i though was just ok, it wasnt bad but it felt like it detracts way too much from getting cards and building a synergy since it became way too easy to get the pluto cubes so you would always focus on them alone, at least with the pluto expansion you could only get them from specific cards so it was just one extra strategy instead of the only one.The alien colonies cards are fantastic and the biggest pro of this expansion for me, they help to diversify the colony cards and give extra incentive to actually get them.Some of the new card types are fun, i especially like the orange ability cards.Now for the main module, the sector 13 module.That one is a stinker for me, its convoluted and over-complex a simple game and just plainly isnt fun, i threw that one to the garbage.Overall this expansion is worth it imo solely for the alien colonies, new ship cards, and the cardboard pluto board.
