All the quality but very very good price!
Ok so i am using these with the amazon basics water filter jug just so everyone knows.they fit like a dream! i properly primed the filter by first soaking it for 10 mins with a 1 min shake underwater first. i then ran the tap through it for 1 whole min like the instructions say, and then filled it up twice and tried the water on the third. AMAZING TASTE... well no taste actually and the water is as clear as you like!i am used to a fridge dispenser water filter built in but i am moving soon and the fridge cannot come with me so this is a much better alternative for me! the water tastes great! and is better than the fridge filter by far!for about £24 you can have a 2 year supply of these things which is crazy compared to Brita which would be about the same money for 6 months (when they are on offer). i am really impressed with these cartridges for the price, i hope they keep the carts cheap and keep the quality they have, because this company could well be the next UK Brita. very impressed and will update this review as and when. but i have purchased myself a 2 year supply now because i am that impressed with them.i dont know where the bad reviews are coming from, seems like its ether people who have got the wrong filters for the wrong jug, or they are not taking the time to prime them properly. when i first put this thing in water it had alot of black chunks come off of the filter which is why you need to shake it real good in the water, then let it sit for 10 mins to get rid of the air. then rinse for 1 min under the tap and then finally put two fillings of the jug through the filter and you should be good to go.as i have said if you are in the market for a jug and filter the amazon basics one and these filters are really cheap together and work a treat. i have purchased my 24 month supply so i know i can have cheap great tasting water for the next 2 years.*also i forgot to mention that the filter will filter the water through very quickly e.g. in max 2 mins but usually it takes about 1.5 mins to filter 1 liter of water. this is another big plus if you are in a hurry and forget to refill the jug.i have not had any black bits in the water at all and i think that people may not have spent to time to fully prime the filter properly i.e. ten mins submerged and shake it for one min. this step is important i think because it gets rid of the dust inside the filter and the black bits come out at this stage, so its best to give it a vigorous shake as this will only help prevent dust and particles from the filter getting into the clean water compartment.but i honestly think this company will go far and they are my No.1 for water filtration now because of price, reliability, taste, and their recycling program (you send the carts back free of charge and they recycle them for you). plus the app for your phone is good to remind you when u need to change the filter!5 Star experience! please make sure they will fit your jug! the amazon basics one will hold the filter fine and with the shape of the chamber in the jug it allows you to get this type of filter out easily with no hassle at all. i cant speak on how they fit Brita jugs but filtration wise i would say they are easily on par with them. i did see a review of this filter online and they did alot of tests and found it will reduce the PPM of the water by at least 1 third.**UPDATE 09/02/2020** i did a PPM / water quality test on the water. these are my results: TAP WATER = 320ppm FRIDGE FILTER 1 WEEK OLD = 313ppm THESE FILTERS (EVOLVE) = 192ppm! i tested them three times with a calibrated meter and took the average. so you can clearly see it is about a third of the contaminants are removed which i think is quite impressive.
