The wood frame is hand finished and distressed making each piece unique, and we make no attempt to cover imperfections in the wood as we feel it adds to the character of the piece. It measures 26" tall x 14" wide, has a wood frame with chalk ledge, and two keyholes on the back for easy hanging.

Distressed beautifully
This is a really nice menu chalkboard and better priced than most boards I saw on here at this size.Not too big or small, great detail and the distressing was done tastefully. If I could change one thing, it would be the hanging option.This comes with the key opening in the back, on each side. This means you need to measure the width and then make sure it's straight before drilling holes; I didn't do any of that. I took burlap ribbon & then stabled it to the back so I can tie a bow to hang it from and voila.Pics attached...enjoy!Keep in mind that the bottom wasn't made heavier than the rest so you do have to hold down the board while you write to avoid hearing it bang against the wall.

Sweet menu board
Very sweet menu board. Wish there was a little more space to write however. Bought an eraser to go with it but doesn't work very well on the board. I switched to a damp towel and that seems to work best.
