I have many like items that provide a glow but not with this much moisture, without tell-tale sparkles. I need translucency. This cream stick provides the highlighting in a subtle, not obvious way, as far as I can tell. This moisturizing stick compensates when I wear a matte SPF cover makeup that looks dry. I often put foundation after a serum and eye cream, concealer, bronzer, blush, and more. Over that, I apply this to make a moist finish to the drying makeup caked on the undereye and cheek areas so you cannot see too much of my wrinkles, fine lines, and dryness. This product isn't greasy either. I love the ethereal quality and smooth texture. This will give you that bare skin glistening like you just broke a sweat. It's been a very fashionable look that's been common on the runways with very minimal makeup. It really works great for this but it's not very versatile outside of accomplishing this look to me. It seems very expensive for the price considering that Vaseline can also give this look though it can be a bit harder to control. This doesn't work for me at all with foundation and I like to wear foundation. It feels greasy especially over foundation. It does have a little bit of a off white pearly color but it doesn't add a lot of frost to your look. I like that about it. It just seems a bit expensive for what it does but if you're after that one really high fashion look and you like to go bare skinned, this will definitely accomplish it. I would also like to know that this product arrived on a 100° day in Georgia and it did not arrive melted. It held its form very well.

This is most ideal for when you want a specific type of glow. I'd say it gives a frosty type of glow. It has a bit of a white tint about it and it's shimmery. It's not the type of highlighter that has really noticeable pieces of glitter. So really I think it's all about what look you might be going for. I like having different types in my makeup collection so that depending on the occasion and look, I can switch things up. So I can see myself getting this again in the future.
