The filler works well and is easy to work into any cracks in wood. The big problem is the tube packaging. After about 2 minutes squeezing the seal on the back of the toothpaste tube broke and the stuff went everywhere. It wouldn’t come out of the top off the tube nozzle so I had to take it from where the seal broke at the back of the tube. Obviously this had to be thrown away after little use. I’d advise people not to buy the tube version.

Rather than spend £3,000 on replacing tour Morris Traveller's ash frame, simply because the top corners on each side were rotting, I decided to cut back the rotting wood, treat the remaining area with wood hardener and see how this stuff compared with other brands that I have used on car bodywork repairs. This is easy to use - a little more 'liquid' out of the tube than I would have preferred - and I took care to let each layer harden before adding another. The end result, whilst differing in colour and therefore obviously a repair, looks better and now allows the back doors to be opened, albeit with care to make sure the top hinges remain encapsulated by the filler

The wood filler paste was hard at the nozzle and did not flow easily. I had to squeeze the tube hard to get any out and then the seam at the end burst. Eventually, the paste began to flow better and I could finish the job. It was ok when it was working and set nicely but I doubt if the remainder of the tube will store now.

Very disappointed with this Ronseal product. The only positive thing I can sat was the colour was as expected.With only half the contents used, the bottom of the tube split open, which made it almost impossible & messy to use. There also didn't appear to be as much content inside, more air than filler !After using it for job I bought it for, had to dump remainder as tube too damaged. Disappointed.

First of all within about 5 seconds of starting to use the filler the tube split at bottom and watery filler began to come out at the bottom of the tube. I taped up the tube and carried on applying the filler and waited serveral hours but it didn't go completely hard even though the depth was less than 5mm. Presumably the filler wasn't properly mixed to start with.In any case I scraped out the filler and used a different product and threw the rest away.
