Hiberno Handmade Leather Writing Journal and Notebook, 240 Pages, 7x5"

This product is wonderful. The leather is incredibly soft and looks gorgeous. It is delicate, so be careful not to do anything to mar it. The paper is thick and prevents bleed through. The words are still visible from the reverse side, but only faintly. The paper is a little rougher than I anticipated. I generally use the Sharpie Pen ( Sharpie Pen, Fine Point, Black, 12-Count ) to write, but it is difficult to write consistently on this paper. I instead had to use a ballpoint pen, which does not look as regal. Overall, I am pleased with the product, and have already received many compliments on it from others.

I made the tragic mistake of letting my 13 year old daughter open the package from Amazon when it arrived, and the moment that she saw the journal she staked claim to it! What she didn't know was that I had bought it with her in mind anyway. ;)The buffalo leather is in excellent condition and the separated notebooks in the inside are a great touch that will help make sure individual pages don't come loose and fall out.All in all, a great leather notebook that will make you feel like a rather scholarly Indiana Jones.

Love the quality of the leather and the thickness of the paper. They seemed to get this exactly right. The leather is really soft and has such a lovely feel to it. You can tell the quality immediately. I bought it on the back of the photos on the listing and it is as beautiful as the photos suggest. I am an artist and I bought this for sketching so I use it all the time. At least 2 people on the subway have asked me about it as they like I have never seen anything like it in the stores.

Oh my! Absolutely lovely journal. So rustic but so high end at the same time. The outside is super soft, and the pages are nice and thick. I bought one at Christmas time for a gift for my brother in law and then decided I had to have one also. Love everything about it and can see using it for all my journaling as well as scripture notes, grocery lists, and calendar to do's. Highly recommend!

This is an interesting journal --- cover is very distressed, heavy and strong --- paper is unique, heavy, textured.It makes me feel real, basic. 240 pages should easily last me through my journalizing project. Maybe, because the book is so special, it will help me feel special about my project.Buy this if you like "back to the earth" or traditional style personality items. It will get comments.

This is a super nice journal. The quality of the leather is great and the paper is really nice to write on. I would absolutely love to have refills for the paper so I could keep the journal longer than the paper is going to last me. Maybe in the future?. Very nice product!!!

Pros- Packaging was great and even had a packet to help keep it dry and smelling great. Shipping was fast. Appears to be very well put together. I am hoping to get this monogrammed.Cons- None that I can see as of yet!

Great book to write your thoughts, ideas, and wishes down. Maybe some poetry or story thoughts when they catch ya off guard. I thought it would be just a tad bigger, but it’s kind of perfect for traveling. Thank you.
