So this is more poorly made than I thought. It's like a giant sticker and it was stuck to its backing poorly so there were tons of folds and air bubbles. My intention all along was to have it laminated so between all my children and me we were able to lift it up, flatten it out, and restick it so it was flat. Then we took it to kinkos for $5 and had it laminated. I use chalk marker on the laminate and hung it with tacks. It's the perfect size and I love the black, but if you're planning on sticking it to your surface I'm not sure how well that'd work☹️

Do NOT buy this if you ever plan on (or think you might need to) take it down! See attached pictures for damage to our wall. We are going to have to patch over where it removed a chunk of the drywall and repaint. Hoping the paint will look okay over the adhesive we can’t get off. Even the words are outlined on the wall from going through the calendar. Ridiculous! I’m so upset!

I don't write a lot of reviews, although I rely on them heavily when thinking about a purchase. But I decided to write one for this product, because I've seen some negative reviews. There were several people complaining it doesn't wipe off well and you can see the old writing. I would encourage you NOT to use the eraser that comes with the product, becuase you are correct, that does not work well at all. But, what does work? Fantastik and paper towels. Using Fantastik all purpose cleaner removes the chalkboard marker every time. I have three kids in the house - there is a lot of stuff going up and coming down on that board! It wipes clean every time. I would suggest that before throwing the baby out with the bath water, you try to clean it with an all-purpose cleaner. Good luck!

Both times that I have purchased this item it has been imperfect. The first time it came in the mail, it was rolled into individual pieces to roll out onto the wall. None of the pieces were cut into straight lines, but once I cut them myself it worked well.This go around, the calendar came in one large piece but had a cut in one of the date squares.I love the size of this calendar, and the ease in which it cleans. I truly wish that there was a better final quality check, because this calendar could truly be 5 star worthy.

My main purpose for ordering this was to use as a coverup for my desk. I went through the worst time trying to get this package to my apartment having to re order 3 times because of some issues, but it finally came and I have it set up.The demensions seem to be a lot smaller than I anticipated from the online description. Based off the supposed measurements, it should have been enough to cover most of my desk with only a few inches left on the sides. Instead, there's almost an entire foot exposed.Anyway the calendar stuck on well and doesn't look like it's going anywhere anytime soon. The chalk markers also erase nicely, but we'll see how well it does after a month. Also real chalk works just as well if not better than the markers. The only thing is to write lightly and not scratch into the mat while writing.It's a really nice addition to my office space especially since the desk I got, the top was ripped off, so this does a nice job of covering it and is a desk calendar but much bigger than typical ones you would find in an office store.

I am a busy mom with a full time job, and I go to school. I got this organizer to put next to my desk so that I can have my class info at a glance. I can write notes as I go, and keep track of when things are due. I just got it, but so far this is going to be a huge help! I wish I had this last semester.This came in 4 pieces to make it easier to install. The instructions said to prime it with chalk first. Luckily, we had chalk at home, so this was simple. I flattened them out overnight and then I primed them. I thought it would be easier to make my title when it was still on the counter, so I wrote it on and let it dry. I put up the other pieces first and put the title piece on last. I don't have room for the 4th piece, so that is still rolled up waiting for me to find another wall to put it on.I put the smaller grid on first. I eyeballed the placement. It think I did alright. Next I put the calendar part on. I lined it up perfectly with the grid and was quite pleased with how straight it was. Then I was ready for the title part. And that is when I realized that I put the calendar in the wrong place... I put it up high, aligned with the top of the other part. I considered just leaving it like that, but I realized that it would bug the junk out of me, so I peeled it off and re-positioned it. It was SUPER sticky, so that is good. I was not as thrilled with the alignment this time. It was ok, but not as perfect as the first go.Anyway, so far I really like this. It is right next to my desk so I can easily add notes and reminders as they pop up. It has only been a few days, so I can't really say how well the markers erase after a while, but when it is fresh, they erased really nicely.Plus, the price was awesome for what I got! I especially love that this comes with markers and an eraser! (maybe they can add chalk to future shipments, because I was totally surprised when I wanted to install this during a snow storm and had no way to go out to buy chalk at that moment.)

The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely love this product. It works great for my office and the large size and bright colors allow me to be able to see my schedule mapped out in just a quick glance. Taking off the contact paper was easy and applying the calendar to the wall was very easy. If you are off a little bit, it's easy to peel off and reapply. Smoothing out bumps was simple too.The pens work real nice. The PopArt pens from g'soft are definitely good chalk markers. There are other off brands that don't work as well as these. They do take a good amount of shaking to activate. Follow the instructions given on the packet and it should work. It did take me 2-3 cycles of shaking and pressing to get it working, but the colors are bright and vibrant.It cleans really easily with the sponge provided. Use a tissue to touch up if need be.
