How to prepare it
After looking for a grass-fed, non-GMO gelatin to take for improved joint/cartilage function based on other reviews and the success of my grandpa using it years ago to heal his knees, I decided to buy this brand. The hardest part of adding this to my daily morning routine has been finding the best way to take it. I tried juice, tried jello. I tried putting it in hot coffee... gave my coffee a slightly unpleasant flavor and texture, but I resigned to having unpleasant but consumable coffee each morning. I almost purchased gelcaps to convert the powder to pills... then I found a review that was so helpful, so sharing.BEST WAY TO TAKE:1 - Put coffee creamer or half-and-half in your coffee cup.2 - Add 2 TBL gelatin. Stir. Will solidify into chunks.3 - Add hot coffee (I use 10oz). Stir.4 - Add sugar, if desired.Result: Frothy, perfect cup of coffee with no gelatin taste! Enjoy!

I am in my 50s and was starting to have symptoms of osteoarthritis. It was difficult for me to move my hands, go up stairs, and my neck made a crackling sound every time I moved it. I had read a long time ago that gelatin was good for cartilage, and since I figured reduction in cartilage was a major part of what was causing my ailments, I set out to find a remedy.I tried pills and had good success, but they were filled with chemicals. Since I knew this was going to be taken long term, I wanted to find a more natural solution. I then tried gelatin in tablet form. This was more convenient, but the volume of pills that had to be take was daunting and not cost effective, though it was convenient for travel. In my search, I came across the powdered form and chose this product. When dissolved correctly, you cannot taste it in the beverage, nor does it change the consistency. In the time I have been using it, my neck almost never crackles when I turn my head, I am able to go up stairs and get around as when I was younger, and my hands are nimble enough to knit and crochet. Now, changes in weather can bring back some of the previous symptoms, but it is still not as bad as before. Forgetting to take this for a couple of days will also bring back some symptoms, but as soon as I start taking it again, I am good. This is how I dissolve it: I pour a little cold liquid into my cup (milk or creamer if coffee, water if tea) and add a tablespoon of the powder. I then stir to dissolve and let it sit for about a minute. Then I add the hot liquid. If the mixture is very thick, I add a little hot liquid, stir to loosen it up, and then add the rest. If you do this correctly, there will not be chunks and it will be fully dissolved. If I travel, I just place what I need in a baggy with my measuring spoon and I am good to go.I would highly recommend this product, and do, often, to my friends. I will continue to purchase this because it is natural, good for the long term, and I have had very positive results. Now, every body is different and every situation is different, so you may or may not have the same results as I have. I am just letting you know my personal experience.Thank you for reading...and thank you to the company for providing this product.

Instruction discrepancy
Instruction on the package says to use 3 tablespoons per serving whereas instruction on Amazon site says 2 tablespoons. Both instruct to use the same amount of hot water and cold water.I put 3 tbsp (21g) in a 16oz of hot coffee. It was terrible, so I was making 3 days worth of gelatin cubes with 9 tbsp (63g). Gelatin cube has no taste but I enjoy consuming it. However, I felt 21g per day was too much.Following is what I found on one of the sites:Since gelatin is safe for most people, there are no set intake limits. However, there is some evidence that taking more than 15g of gelatin per day may cause side effects, including sore throat, swollen gums, and mouth sores.1 tablespoon of gelatin is equal to 7grams and 3 tablespoons is too much. 2 tablespoons make sense. After finding out that taking more than 15g daily is not advisable, I’m switching to 2 tablespoons.I’ve only been taking gelatin for 4 days and haven’t seen any noticeable changes. I’ll update in about a month.I feel this is a high quality product, but gave 4 stars because of the instruction. I like the neutral taste as a solid gel, so I’ll purchase again. Still trying to find out a way to consume in a liquid form without using any dairy.

Very happy with all the good results of this gelatin!
I'm very happy with my results using this gelatin. I have a lot of skin conditions from head to toe since a very young age. I immediately noticed a difference within the first two uses of this product. My skin stopped being so itchy and rough. My hair is softer too. I haven't noticed any joint difference yet, but I'm confidant after a few more months of use that my joints will improve too.The biggest pain relief so far has been from my skin issues getting better. My skin is no longer so itchy all over, rough patches are much softer, and my skin isn't cracking/breaking anymore. Also my nails are stronger, I've always have had really weak nails. And I noticed I don't feel so hungry throughout the day when I add the product to my morning coffee. I bloom it first with the milk I add to my coffee.I'm very happy with the high quality of this gelatin and how much it has helped my aliments that I never had solutions for before using this product. Will definitely keep buying and using on a daily basis.Cooking wise, this gelatin is great. It blooms very well and is wonderful for jello and any other desserts/recipes that call for gelatin. Overall, I couldn't be more happy with this gelatin product. It went above and beyond my expectations.
