This is our second year playing with tapping our maple trees. This setup has made it really easy for us to get into maple syrupping. Last season we had 3 taps and made almost 1/2 gallon, we got this kit before this season, tapped 10 more trees, and made over 4 gallons of syrup. These are really easy to use, and they work great!!!

Purchase for my first adventure in making syrup. Found this to be a well made product. Instructions were provided so you had a clue of how to use. I used all 10 taps, have made about 3 quarts of syrup so far.The bags are translucent so you can tell by looking in the woods when you need to empty them without having to hike out and check.The bags are staying attached to the pipe, the taps are staying in the trees so all is working as expected.

Works well from the standpoint of "visibly" being able to see when the sap load was getting full. From a weekly collection standpoint a bit tedious especially if sap was frozen as no way to get it out of the bag short of defrosting each bag or cutting it off.

This was our first attempt at tapping maples in our yard. This was a minimal investment to start from scratch. The instructions are good. It is easy to get these set up properly. The results are excellent. The maple sap is flowing and we are making delicious maple syrup.
