Got a kindle edition. Content is amazing. Very basic book to know India but wide range of topics covered. A good one to start with. The title explains it all. Very well written

Excellent book written by experts

If you want an overview abt India's current situation and problems thn this is the book for u.But if u r an avid reader of newspapers and intrested in current affairs thn it offers not as much as ur previous readings. So u can skip it.For newbees this can be the go to book because if it simple and not so much in depth overview of India and it's problems. Chapters are not too long but just in length and lucidly written.

After much waiting received the book in damaged condition.

Book arrived as stated by the supplier.The condition of the the book however was not the best - the corners of the covers looked slightly damaged and previously used.
