I appreciate when a manufacturer thinks in details and practicality. The best feature of this Elchim 8th Sense Sunset Copper Hair Dryer is the accelerator and decelerator option with easy button press on and that's why I bought it. Majority of hair dryers these days do not have an option to have moderate blow together with medium heat option when you need and most just blow too much on high heat without giving much of the focus needed as of heat not to blow hair strands away. But with this you can achieve it and then increase the heat as you wish or go low. However, I feel the maximum heat is not completely achieved and it this hair dryer has room to improve. The color black with bronze is fantastic it is sleek and chick looking makes it attractive and providing a bag was a plus to me. The hair dryer is not too big not too small/ good size for average hand, but wished it was a bit lighter. Appreciated the two nozzle types but I'm not sure why while on Amazon it has stated it comes with free diffuser, I didn't see that included in the package. At this price point I was expecting to come with the diffuser. At the beginning/1st use there was an annoying burning smell which made me worried, but seems it been decreasing after 2nd or 3rd use. I hope the smell would go away completely as at first you thought hair is burning. One concern as of longevity would be the buttons for acceleration/deceleration, if they will hold up with constant use. And another is the annoying kick at the end when you turn off the Hair Dryer it looks there is a lag of a second or two to completely stop the engine. Overall well thought hair dryer with appropriate color and buttons, with room to improve for better/higher heat and less weight and including the diffuser as advertised.

Dryer broke after 6 weeks. Contacted Amazon and they refused to do anything to fix the issue had to send the dryer in to Elchim to be fixed and pay to fix it which was really annoying since it was a brand new dryer. This is my 4th Elchim dryer and they usually last me 8 months since I’m using it professionally. Very disappointed by this last one unfortunately
