Although this was four times more expensive than other shovels I’ve tried it’s worth the extra expense.

solid construction with major ergonomic flaw
Unlike the US army version of the E tool this one does not have the ridges on the locking nut rounded off. This results in cutting your skin if using the shovel aggressively digging a hole.

Più pesante di quel che mi aspettavo!
È sicuramente solida e ben construita, lo si percepisce immediatamente dal peso notevole. Da quel che so viene data anche in dotazione a vari eserciti, dovrei costruire una trincea per vive questa pala a pieno?!

Lightweight, folds very compact and most importantly very sturdy.
i use it do dig up metal detecting finds. using it since a month but dug already hundreds of holes in various conditions. seems to keep up with the task better than expected. tried other foldable spades that broke very fast. Deep holes are of course a challenge but that's not really the intended use
