Never go without one saves your fifthwheel plate

There were no dislikes. It worked as described, user friendly and seemingly accurate. I put this one in my RV and will purchase another for the house.

Fits on our 5th wheel and does well for helping to prevent excessive wear on the hitch plate.

Large size lubriplate by Camco are the bomb! They work great with my 40 ft quad slide 5er and Reese 22K hitch.before buying these I used the regular sized white plates available from the big box RV superstores for about 20$. These black plates are about 1/2 that cost, thanks to Amazon, they look better, they are larger, and work as well or better then the 8inch white ones. They fit fine and do not come loose or off like my old plates do. I once had the old lube plate crack and a piece of it lodged inside the jaws of the hitch unseen not allowing my hitch to positively lock closed. Yes, you guessed it, my 5er crashed down on my bed ruining my bed and tailgate in the process. These plates I can see outside of the hitch when locked on my 5er pin allowing me to see if it is broken. Believe me, if you can find a replacement bed and tailgate in good condition, and in the right color, then, install it and redrill holes for the hitch you will be out about 2500-3000$ and a ton of time and trouble. Buy one of these and save your bed and possibly your life.

What a great invention! Only wish we would have purchased this sooner. Totally eliminates the need to grease up your king pin and 5th wheel hitch. We regularly have to remove our hitch out of the back of the truck. In the past when there was grease on it we always seemed to get grease on us.. Now that we have this lube plate that is all a thing of the past! We haul a 35' 5th wheel. So far after a year on the RV the wheel lube plate shows no sign of wear other than a little warping of the plastic. This doesn't affect the use of the plate at all. Once you attach the Rv it is flat. It stays in place and does NOT move or fall off. We never cleaned the old grease off our hitch before installing this plate and it still stays on perfectly. We could have gotten away with the 10" version but the 12" was a better price. We decided a couple inches sticking out was worth the difference​ in cost. You will be happy you upgraded!
