Really impressed with this little rascal already. Bought this for it's compactness for my wife's Baofeng that she carries in her purse. I haven't put it to the distance test yet, but under a mile on the UHF band it seems to do very well.

for small size this is great. Has better receive than transmit. If you need a very small antenna this is great but doesn't have the best transmit. Its not horrible just not great. Great to carry your boefeng around in your pocket

Durable but not better for transmitting or receiving.
These antennas are no different than the original ones that come with the radios. Signal for receiving and transmitting with these is no better. We like them because they are short and durable. Much more durable than the originals.

While the product was delivered as promised it was not as quality that you would expect. It was a cheap rubber antenna that seperated from the base within 1 hour of use.
