The cactus back scratcher is the best one I have used and definitely helps

I have an itchy spot on my shoulder blade that I have to contort myself to reach and the cactus takes care of that problem. It also allows me to scratch vigorously, even for a prolonged time, without breaking my skin, like my nails or other scratching implements have. I thought the hard plastic might be rough, but it's not at all. I am in the blissful haze of a scratch sesh right now. my cat also really digs it.

My sister is recovering from her hand/shoulder injuries and this back scratcher can easily be used by her without needing any arm strength. It is very comfortable to massage your back with this. I brought 1 for myself and then 2 others (1 original size and 1 mini) for my sister in different color. She has been using it everyday since. We both like the mini version over the original but for larger great the original version works better. The only down side is after 2 months of continuous usage, the color of the spikes are starting to come off. but nevertheless it is still a great tool / back scratcher.

My back is itchy all the damn time lately. I don't know why. And I'm a person who likes someone to scratch my back like they're trying to carve my skin off.The Cactus is sturdy and I like the telescoping handle and the shape and size of the head. I think the level of scratchiness in the plastic spikes would be pretty perfect for most people. But for me personally it's not hardcore enough. This is pretty definitely a Me Problem and not something I'll remove any stars for.

Got this for my husband.I accidentally broke his 40yr old back scratcher.He uses this every day now!He loves the dual sides!Extends far enough to get that itch!I love that it shrinks for storage.His old one didn't extend, this one is really ideal.I definitely recommend!!👌Update: I have to get another one, turns out that this is also a fantastic cat massager too! While I was sitting on my couch, I discovered that I can use this to brush them, even when they are not close...the wand expands! I was totally surprised, but I'm here to say that ALL of my cats LOVE this thing!!!😻
