Very well made
***UPDATE***So we had this thing out on the trail in the back of the jeep for 10 nights. I love it. It is sturdy. It's easy to season and to clean. I've fried bacon on it, grilled sandwiches, ribs, pork chops, heated pulled pork, grilled asparagus, mushrooms, and squash. Plus pots, pans and kettles with soup, beans, sauces, coffee and hot chocolate. It sets up well even if the site isn't level. The legs don't adjust in height, but you can wedge them into a fire ring at almost any angle and this thing'll stand.I'm impressed. Let's see how long it lasts.***So i just got this, and haven't taken it out to use it yet. I'll update this review as time goes on.But immediate impressions are it's well made, fairly heavy duty, and the right size and guage of steel and construction to make it sturdy and durable while still keeping it relatively light weight and easily portable. I don't think many people would want to hike with this in their pack all day, but overlanding or car camping, etc, this looks prefect. Plus the moderately thick fabric bag so you don't get whatever carbon you didn't clean off on anything else in the vehicle. The real thing will be how well it seasons up (especially the griddle section) and cooks, and how it handles being heated and cooled repeatedly, over time.

Fine Product, Misleading Picture
This thing is plenty sturdy, but one of the pictures makes it seem as though it stands at 31" tall, so that's a little misleading. Probably an accident, but still needs fixed. I would also like to see in the description provided that this is an item that needs seasoned and oiled so that people who are more ignorant of these kinds of materials but still want to go camping with their family (like myself) can know what they're getting into beforehand.

Solid grill for direct over the coals cooking.
I took this grill camping for a four day three night trip. The grill is very sturdy. I forgot a gas connector to my propane stove, so this was our primary cooking tool over the weekend. We grilled goat skewers, chicken tacos, and burgers. I used a cast iron skillet on top to make crepes, fry corn, bacon, and eggs. I'd buy again. Great purchase.

No locks on legs
This grill really works great, but the problem is that there are no leg locks to keep the legs from folding. This would be a simple fix that would make use much less frustrating. You want to let the fire burn down before placing the grill, so you need to be able to set it over hot coals easily- instead, the legs buckle immediately and it is very annoying, as well as dangerous to get set up and impossible to move once it’s in the fire. We have had to purchase silicone mitts in order to use without my husband saying naughty words in front of the kids… Otherwise, it is a good height and fits in most fire pits we’ve tried.
