My first impression of these shoes was underwhelming. I was hoping to avoid paying $$$ for cycling shoes and hoped these might be a good option, but alas... They feel cheap compared to, say, Shimano or Peloton shoes. The velcro straps and ratcheting part don't get very tight which means the shoe always feels loose. They are quite wide in the toe box as well, so unless you have wide feet I wouldn't purchase these.

This shoe fits better than I expected. I'm already looking for my second pair in all black.
