Not a big fan of the 2 piece rods but I am very happy with this one. I bought the 7' and paired it with a 13 fishing code chrome reel and i have nothing bad to say about it. It casts straight and is really lightweight. It is of very good materials and the eyes are stout. I let my buddy try it for a few casts and now his is on the way, he had to have one. Wasn't fortunate enough to get any fish on it due to a wicked cold snap but it will perform. I highly recommend this rod.

Excellent rod. Had a chance to test it out this morning using the reel my son is getting for Christmas so it had to be removed and wrapped. The rod casts excellent and has the strength to really work a fish to wear it out. Even held up to a 25 pound blue catfish with very little flex. I will have to buy a few more of these rods. The look is top notch and I have no doubts the rod will last for years to come and provide outstanding results when fighting a fish. Solid buy for the money.

I went with the MH(Medium Heavy) rod as I was in need of something that could get out far fishing from shore and that could hold the weight. I will say it is a tad bit more on the heavy side rather than MH. It’s fairly stiff which works great for bait and wait fisherman. Would recommend this rod for anyone fishing for catfish, striped bass, wiper, or any bottom feeding fish.

For the price surprisingly strong and sensitive to bites. I've pulled in some 20+ inch red drums and some hefty black drums with no problem so far. Lightweight but good stiffness low on rod. Eyelets seem to be attached well and overall well worth the price.

Rod Snapped in the middle while we were Bluegill Fishing. Wife wasn’t Happy.!
