Not that I enjoy putting my measurements out there, but for the sake of fit for those of you looking for a reasonably priced but also lovely costume dress, I am 5'4" and 138 lbs, with a narrower waist but ample hips (typically size 4 or 6 top, size 8 or 10 bottom). A-line dresses are usually the most flattering on me, and this dress was no exception. I purchased the medium, and it fit perfectly, and is very flattering. The ties in the back make the fit perfect. I was worried at first about the length, since other reviewers said it was too short, but it is actually long on me, and will need to be hemmed an inch or two depending on which shoes I decide to pair with the dress. If you are 5'7" or taller, it may be too short, depending on your shoe choice and what you are looking for in length. The dress itself is one layer of polyester fabric, so it will not keep you warm on a cold Halloween night, but with the right under-layers and a good cloak, you'll be fine. It looks more expensive than it is. I'm really happy with this purchase!

I have tried several of these and this one is by far the best. Fabric has weight to it and hangs really well, also looks very luxe and not cheap. This is also the only one that actually came to the ground for me. I'm only 5'6" but every other one was above the ankles. It looks more expensive than it is and was a couple of dollars less than some that were not as nice. I had read reviews about the strings, so bought some black ribbon to replace them, it looks great.I typically wear a L/XL, the XXL fit nice with a little give. The fabric has quite a bit of weight and stretch in it, so even if it's a little large, it still hangs nicely. I ordered up in anticipation of fit from other reviews. Love it.

Only tried it on once so far - planning to wear for a small outdoor Halloween gathering. I saw other reviews that said it was a little shorter than expected so as a 5' 2" woman I was pumped. Alas those reviews must have been for a different style of dress, this one was long even wearing 4" heels (this is why I don't buy maxis skirts). Otherwise, the bodice fit very nicely, I ordered a small and usually wear small shirts or sizes 2-4 jeans/dresses. I might try and do a rough hem before the party cause otherwise I KNOW I'm gonna faceplant at some point during the night. If you're tall and still want it to hit the floor - pick THIS style.

Beautiful, especially for a reasonable cheaper price point but the dress is not long enough. Pictured here is a 5 foot tall 11 year old and although it has a poof under it, it wasn’t too long on her without the poof either. I’m 5’ 3” and it was too short on me for sure. Still looked nice if you don’t mind many inches of your shoes showing if you’re over 5’ tall. If they were to add 6 inches to it, and more length in the back, this dress would be a more amazing dress. Still though, it was a good dress for the price and she had a great time at her Medieval Feast!

I am writing this to help someone with sizing. I am 5' 4..198 lbs..I measure 48 x 41 x 47 and am 57 yrs young. I bought a 3x and it fits good. there are laces up the back for adjusting. It fit so well I did not need to let them out or cinch in. The front laces stop at my natural waist..not drop waisted as photo shows. The length goes to the floor when flat footed. I can wear a crinoline and 1.5" heals and still have good length, about 2" from floor with shoes. The material is fine...workmanship is good...going to sew the laces further down to create the look in the photo. I normally wear a size 18/20, 1x or 2x a nd the 3x was not huge on me at all. Pair it up with blond Game of Thrones type wig and a crown and youare set! This is for a work party on the 1st...my Guinea Pig is wearing a Dragon costume..he is going to work with me that day....should be cute together....size up..and def reccomend...decent costume for the money..Happy Haunting!
