FGT Motorsport 2013-2017 Dodge Ram Diesel Magnetic Billet Aluminum Fuel Cap and DEF Cap Combo

Just what I needed! The aluminum diesel cap is much easier to use and keep track of than the red plastic cap.The weight and magnet keep it where you put it when fueling. The most difficult part was adjusting the included gaskets for best fit and that only took about a minute.I was able to use the original retainer on the Def cap. A minute or two to determine which gasket to use and I was done.Both caps are solid, well marked, easy to grip and easy to remove and install.

Very nice product. Very quality feel. They sent two o-rings for each cap to ensure a good fit. The Def cap is made so u can use the existing plastic retaining cord to keep track of it when filling. I do wish the diesel cap had a knob on top to grab it like the Def cap, but there is knurling on the side for better grip. The diesel cap has a magnet built in to stick it somewhere when fueling but I feel it's a little week, will have to ensure its completely flat against the surface before letting go. One thing I'm concerned about though is no venting on the diesel cap, I know you don't get alot of vapor pressure out of diesel but I'm not sure if the tank has any venting either so it's something to think about. The colors are also very rich, looks nice. Overall very nice caps, would definitely buy again, especially for the price.

These look so much better than the factory supplied plastic cap and plastic DEF cap. You can get away with the plastic DEF cap, really, but the Diesel/green cap is really required. LOL! Not sure why Ram feels a red, plastic, slip in cap is sufficient to keep dust and mud out of a truck's fuel tank? Package arrived with extra o-rings to fit either sizes of Ram's fill tubes. NICE!

The items arrived as expected, and the machining and finish are flawless. This is a great way to keep the water out of my diesel tank, and provides a sturdier substitution for the plastic DEF cap. The magnet has good strength as well. Great customer service. They are sending another thicker o-ring to perfect the seal.

Both caps are well made and fit perfectly without needed to use the extra o-rings that come with it. While the factory plastic caps work fine, these caps fit better and probably keep more dust out. Do you need to buy these, hell no, but I'm happy I did buy, they look and fit awesome.

These products are 100% better that the cheap plastic that Dodge supplies from the factory. Also the magnet built into the fuel cap allows you to attach to the gas door while fueling your truck instead of sticking the plastic cap, from Dodge, in you pocket so you don’t loose it!!

I have no clue why dodge includes a flimsy red plastic "dust cover" ,for lack of a better word, instead of a fuel cap. They do include a plastic DEF cap but I wanted the billet one instead. Both caps fit well with the o-rings on them and the magnet in the fuel cap is a great idea to help prevent a lost cap.
