I received it relatively quickly. It actually came a day before it's estimated arrival. The only compliant I have is very minor, the little finger loops on each sleeve broke shortly after trying it on, but it was an easy repair. The veil to the crown I received was a rich red, but I actually like this one much better than the picture, and the chest panel is also the same red. Although, those parts are a different color compared to the supplied picture, I actually like to rich reds. It's fit pretty well. The zipper is quite long, it goes from below my waist all the up to the back.It is a bit on the long side for me, but I'm only 5'3." I'm going to either just carry the bottom of the dress when I trick-or-treat with my niece (I'm taking her since my parents have custody and they're handing out candy), or I'll wear some heels and that should take care of the length. The material is actually pretty nice for a Halloween costume. I'm pretty pleased even with the hiccup.It's pretty, I really do like it. If I were get a chance to go to a Renaissance Faire, I intend to wear this.

I am 5'5" and the dress is a too long for me. I'll be altering it before I can wear it. The sleeves, however were a tad to short for me, so one of the loops for the middle finger ripped and I'll be fixing it too. Other than that the dress looks nice, not too cheap. I got it to match my daughter dress and they match perfectly.I won't be wearing the headpiece - that one does look cheap and ugly. I got a wig instead.The dress runs smaller - I wear M size and I was only able to get this dress to fit me because I lost a few pounds recently.

Great costume, well made and fits perfect. except for length. I am only 5'3" so it is long on me even with heals. Hey, they gathered up their skirts back in the day too soooo. I usually wear a medium in just about everything at 128 lbs with 36DD bust and narrow shoulders. I could have gone a size larger, but I recently lost weight and prefer my attire more form fitting these days. It's tight, but has enough elasticity to accommodate the girls. The sleeves fit perfectly with the finger hole. Even the half crown looked great and was lightly padded to give it a more lux look. The quality and fit were waaaaaay beyond my expectations and you would think it was a much more expensive costume by the look and feel. I purchased it for a Halloween party and it would be perfect for a Renaissance Fair. Do not hesitate to buy this costume. You will not be disappointed.

It's a pretty dress and fits perfectly; however the panel at the front, especially the gold trim/lace at the waist is not quite centered in the middle. The length will surely need to be hemmed (I'm short 5'2"), but that's not an issue. I just wished the front panel and the gold trim were not off-centered. Other than that, it is pretty and I like the material/colors and style.

I'm 5'2", 115# and I ordered a small. This dress is very form fitted, and much too long.I chose this particular costume because it appeared that it wouldn't show very much cleavage - mind you I don't have much which is usually the problem; dress necklines are usually too large & this one had some extra coverage.Per the other reviews - this fits like a glove, and the neckline is perfectly snug. I could've probably been ok in a medium, but the small will be better. The quality is pretty good considering it is a costume. The seams are not perfectly straight, the draped fabric on the sleeves is crooked. I do sew & if I had the time & desire - this could easily be repaired. But since I will most likely only be wearing this once - I am not too worried about it.Love the long sleeves since I am usually cold & Halloween is not usually a warm evening.The tiara it comes with is odd - but could work, I chose to order Bridal Wedding Tiara Crown With Gold Flowers 4652G5 and it goes with it perfectly.

For the cost, this is one of the best costumes available - the fit is nearly perfect and, as other reviewers say, it is fairly long so the length can be customized. I'm pretty short (5'3") so I had to hem it about 4 inches and am still wearing heels with it. I was afraid the bodice would be too tight, but the cloth is stretchy enough to accommodate most people within their size range. I would've given this 5 stars except that it is rather itchy up top, so I intend to wear a camisole and perhaps 'pad' the shoulders a little so they don't rub. Otherwise, this is a really elegant costume that I intend to enjoy for years.

This costume is of great quality and is true to size. The only problem is that it's really long, and I, being 13 years old, am only 5,2. I just used hemming tape to make it just barely touch the floor. I wore my costume to school, and I'm not kidding when I say that I got around 70 complements. The only thing I don't like about the costume is that the headpiece is kind of ugly, so I got a separate tiara to wear. If you agree with me and want a different headpiece, you can get the one I got on amazon. It's called Bridal Wedding Tiara Crown With Gold Flowers, and its by HobbyStreet. Other than that, it's amazing.

My daughter was assigned to be Jeanne d'Albret, Queen of Navarre - and this was a great costume for the part. The material is nice; it looks rich but is not too heavy or hot. The fit was a bit snug (for my taste - her mom), but my daughter thought it was perfect. (The material is stretchy, so there is some leeway in the sizing.) We ordered a small; my daughter wears a size 6 jeans and either a small or medium top depending on material and sizing. The "crown" arrived a bit "bent" (it is foam backed on a headband). I sprayed it with water and forced it to stay in the correct shape for a day or two, and it was fine for the fair. Hope she gets to wear it again some day!

I ordered this for a medieval fancy dress ball. It is very well made for the price. The material has some stretch so is comfy to wear, and the crushed velvet adds a certain amount of luxury!
