Lost in Love (The Nunswick Abbey Series Book 1): A contemporary, lesbian, village romance

I really enjoyed this book! I love Anna and Katherine. Anna's dad Harry is adorable as is Katherine's cat Victoria .The secondary characters are so interesting. I love Rebecca! You'll find this story to be cute and loving. It is worthy of 5 stars. Now on to books 2, 3, 4 etc!

Overall it was a lovely reading, the MCs have some hang-ups to fix yet, but I can see the potential in the couple and definitely will read the sequels. But I think the romance was a bit overwhelmed by the sickness. I missed "seeing" more of their chemistry, because when Anna wasn't running everywhere to take care of her father, she was sort of exhausted and being taken care of by Katherine. The latter still needing to be a better communicator and the first less of a mule. But somehow I still want to see them together and how things progress.

Alle drei Bücher sind eine absolute Leseempfehlung... meiner Meinung nach ist der erste Teil der Champion, die anderen beiden Bücher sind gelungene Fortsetzungen.Die Story handelt von Anna und Katherine, zwei starken Frauen, beide mit einem ordentlichen Rucksack an Altlasten, den sie jeweils zu schultern haben. Sie sehen sich, verlieben sich... und haben noch so einiges an Herausforderungen vor sich.Es prickelt sowas von zwischen ihnen, die Chemie absolut greifbar. Eine wunderschöne Liebesgeschichte, sehr einfühlsam und voller großer und großartiger Gefühle. Ich habe mich sofort verliebt 🥰

Highly recommend this debut novel, it was a very enjoyable read. Beautifully written with wonderful characters you fall in love with. The story was a rollercoaster of emotions and all set in a cute village setting, loved the cat who is a character in herself!It tackles some difficult issues very well and I can’t wait for the next instalment! 👏👏

First time I have read an Emily Banting novel and I enjoyed this heart-warming story set in a English village. Second chance love, a bit of angst, all and all a good read and look forward to reading the second in the series.
