Replacement F273699 Fuel Filter Fits for Buddy Big Buddy and Tough Buddy heaters

I change this every year, works well. But I think it restricts the flow of gas slightly as when the tank starts to get empty the heater will not burn on high.

I didn’t know these were made but glad I got it. Haven’t used it but would recommend this product.

They tell me I need one of these if I use a hose and 20# propane tank. I didn't used to use one. I have a big buddy heater that has two regulators built in but only one of the works now. I tried to replace the bad regulator and found that the brass fitting that screws into it is so tight that the tiny space where I could insert a wrench wouldn't break it loose. The space is so narrow that I can't get a vice grip or larger tool in to take it apart. Luckily, I still have a regulator on the other side that works. If these filters work as they claim, I will have a functioning Big Buddy heater for years to come. Filters are lots cheaper than new heaters.
