Overall - its appearance is nice and adds a lot visually.There are a few things though and first of all, there are conflicting 'instructions' (visual only) for the assembly of the bolt, lock washer and flat washer. One would think that somewhere along the line someone at the manufacturer would have been paying enough attention to the fact that the 'lager drawing' of the assembly is WRONG, not only for this product but for this type of construction in general.Look to the small drawing for the CORRECT ARRANGEMENT.This 'oversight' causes one to wonder how much else was over looked. The welds on the legs are adequate but not consistent indicating untrained people on the assembly line; that's unfortunate at this price.So 1) don't follow the visual instructions when they conflict logic and 2) beware that though this is satisfactory quality it is about $100 overpriced. Would I buy it again, yes because of the aesthetics, but I would never recommend this 'bench' for any public area because it definitely lacks the construction to hold up under constant use.To the manufacturer, some standoffs for inside the tubular sections of the legs where the bolts tighten would add to the overall long term stability and not cost more than a few pennies...

It’s really easy to assemble and I like the simple, modern and elegant style a lot. The look of the bench makes you feel it’s perfectly alright to sit on it. However, the thin padding underneath makes you want to get up the moment you sit down.
