I love this skillet. It is a little heavy to handle--my husband does that part. It cooks so well and is so easy to care for. Be sure to clean it up right away--after use and put a light coat of oil on it. It is so nice--those heat grips are great and keep your hand from burning or getting too hot. It is a great skillet and a good price if ordered thru Amazon.

these heat evenly, fry, braise, and flambeé like any other cast iron would. I didn't love the seasoning that came on them but after some use and seasoning of my own they work just as well as a more expensive cast iron highly recommend!

It does not have a smooth inside cooking surface, but I do like it anyway. The rough inside surfaces make it harder to clean.

I caught this on sale, and thought it would make a great backup. This skillet is considerably lighter than my Lodge versions. I actually like this because it makes trips from the grill into the house much easier. The pour spouts work really well too. As with all my cast iron, I washed it and applied another two layers of seasoning. It does come with a layer of vegetable oil, but I prefer avocado oil for its higher smoke point.The only "con" that I can give this pan is that it is much courser than how Lodges come--and that's saying a lot. I have no doubt that once it is used for a while, much of this roughness will dissipate. This also makes cleanup a little tougher, but for the price I paid, I cannot complain!

I bought this pan for my son on sale (I think it was $10) it has easily become our go to pan. It is fantastic!We use it almost every night cooking dinner. I can’t believe I didn’t have a 10” cast iron pan before this. Be careful the pan does get hot (hence the silicon covers). I was told I should have bought the lid for it, I definitely recommend purchasing the lid at the same time.

Keep ‘em oiled and heat them low heat for five minutes before cooking anything to help them be more non stick and they will treat you right. I love cooking with these adds iron to your food, essential for this vegetarian.

Bought it to replace an electric George Forman where the plates were not removable. This thing is easy to clean and grills perfectly. The lid is great and a deal at $40 for the unit!

The main thing to note is that 4.31Kg is heavy.I seasoned it, at least I thought I did, but first time I used it, everything stuck.Turned out to be USER ERROR.After cleaning it and seasoning it after each use, nothing sticks anymore. Also, now it's properly seasoned it's a dream to clean.Highly recommended, just make sure it's seasoned.But before you buy it, be aware that 4.31Kg is properly heavy

Food gets stuck even after seasoning and it's very hard to clean.It is also extremely heavy making it hard to use.

Solid piece of equipment. Nice and heavy (may not be good for those that want something light and easy to clean/store away), has thick griddle lines, and was easy to season. (To season it - I followed the instructions before first use- oiled it up, put it in the oven, Gas mark 4, for 45 minutes, left it in there overnight to cool).This was the only pan I could find on Amazon that was good quality and had a lid. Decent price too.So far so good, lets hope it lasts a while.

A great quality product at a very good price. The only (very small) criticism is that I wish it were just a bit larger so I could fit four steaks into it.
