A few weeks after starting to take FlexNow I noticed that my joints didn't hurt quite as much. Now six months later I can say that when I stopped taking it after the first couple of months, I noticed a difference. I tried the glucosamine/chondroitin stuff with no results. I never had any luck with so called natural products, but a friend told me about it and said it actually works. I was skeptical, but I trusted his opinion and I tried it. I noticed my back pain had noticeably subsided after about 3 weeks.I recently saw a report from I believe a former officer of the company (I understand it has changed hands), said he received reports that people claim that it also helped their dogs. Well, guess what? I have my dog on Dasaquin (and it's not cheap). I saw good reviews, but after 2 months didn't notice any improvement in my dog that has arthritis. I keep her on the glucosamine/chondroitin, since Flexnow does not contain these ingredients. After a few months, there has been a noticeable improvement. She is about 40 lbs, so I tried for a month with one capsule. Wasn't sure it was helping, so I increased it to 2 capsules a day and after about over 3 weeks I saw the improvement. The first time my husband used this product, he saw results within the 30 days, and continued using it for a month or two beyond that. We recommended it to friends, who also saw results. A friend even uses it for her greyhound, and you can't hide behind the placebo effect on a dog. But the last time my husband used it, he didn't have any effect. It was for a different place (his knee) than before, so I guess it depends on what the issue is. It is my understanding this company was purchased by a larger company between these two purchases, so I don't know if they changed the formulations. But it is worth giving it the one month trial. The first time we purchased, they had a money back guarantee if it didn't work in 30 days. I didn't notice this on the most recent purchase.

For several years I would need a Cortisone shot in my right Knee about once a year for pain. There are side effects with cortisone that a person should consider about extended use of cortisone.
