To be honest, I bought this for feng shui purposes. I really do feel uneasy if I can't see someone coming into my home office. (The door is at one side of the room, and there was no other practical way to place my desk.)My husband has one of these mirrors, as well, for his workplace, so he sees anyone approaching from behind his chair. That helps him focus on his computer monitor, when he's working on designs for his company.For the price, I was astonished that the quality of this mirror is so good. (I'd expected something cheaply made.) The frame is heavy plastic. The adhesive strips on the back - two of them - are about 1 1/4" x 2 1/2" inches, each.The mirror is smooth, with absolutely no distortions. The curve makes it possible to see a wide area, also distortion-free.If you need a mirror like this, you've found one worth buying. We're very pleased with ours.

I have bad anxiety. And lately I have had to move my desk and chairs around where my back is to the doorway. Heck to the naw... ain't happening. I bought this not sure if I was just being paranoid, but reading many of the reviews I am not alone with this fear or anxiety trigger so I wanted to take a chance and see what happened.No one enters this room without my noticing them. Problem solved. No more checking behind me, over my shoulder, or anticipating entry from threats or pranksters. I see them coming. And this mirror is to thank for it.I will likely upgrade this to a similar sized, but larger reflective output mirror later, but this works well. I can't read phone screens or books or even see shirt letters or words unless they are directly beside me, but I don't need it for that, I don't care about other peoples problems anyway, I have my own, so their data is safe from my non-prying eyes. But I can see them. And that's what matters. No more pranks or Gibbs-slaps from idiots. I couldn't use the sticky tape, so I put some packaging tape together, taped it to the back of the mirror where it stuck out about a quarter inch, then tacked it onto the wall. I now have an airhorn beside my desk, and when they slap/prank me, I blast the air around them... they don't come around much anymore; and if they do, they announce themselves before I even see them. And I am okay with that! I am thanking the mirror more than the airhorn... but the airhorn is a great compliment to this.

The mirrors were installed left fell off the next day the right fell off a day later. I removed the adhesive strips and replaced them with Velcro peel n stick strips. Working great now.

I have CIPA slip on towing mirror extensions on my truck. The passenger side mirror extension was useless until i stuck this mirror over it. Now it is perfect. I had no adhesion issues, but I was carful to clean the mirror I stuck this to with alcohol, applied the mirror, and let it sit for a couple days with gravity holding it on.

These mirrors are nice, and I stuck them on my truck mirrors. Despite not driving the truck (or even opening the doors), both were on the ground within 2 days. I was glad to see the mirrors survived the fall, so the glue is very bad, but the mirrors seem very good.

I know this mirror is glass because I broke it by no fault of it or the manufacture. I was putting undo force on the face of the mirror. While removing the inadequate small round convex mirror that was on my vehicle I popped the vehicle mirror out of its housing. So I thought OK this will make it easier to install the adhesive mirror but it takes so much force to push the vehicle mirror back in to its housing I was pressing on this convex mirror and broke it. I went right back to Amazon Buy it again and ordered another mirror I like them a lot. The mounting tape on the back of the mirror should be replaced with a good quality tape.

After the passenger side mirror was shattered in a parking lot for a second time in a month, I glued this on top of the busted mirror. Given other reviews about the weak adhesive, I used a gel superglue. So far so good. The bonus is a better view than the OEM!2009 Vibe GT - YMMV

For about $2, this convex mirror is a great value. This glass convex mirror has very good clarity. For this price, I was expecting something like a Mylar coated plastic mirror. This mirror is also convex from top to bottom, not just from side to side. Basically this mirror started off as a 5.5” round convex mirror; the top edge and bottom edge were cut back to make it shorter. This mirror is also light weight. With the adhesive backing, it only weighs 86 grams (about 3 ounces). This mirror comes with two strips of double sided foam tape attached to the back side of the mirror. Each strip of double sided foam tape measures 1.25” by about 2.5”.You could use this mirror for SO many different applications where you need a small light weight convex mirror. The size and field of view of this mirror would be perfect for use in an office cubical to detect people coming up behind you. Ideally you would attach this mirror to the top or side edge of your computer monitor. I’m going to use mine to construct a long handled mirror for inspecting the gutters on my house.

I will use this convex mirroe for security purposes. Will stick to concrete wall with epoxy glue. Park my compact size sedan in front of it, maybe 8 inches away from wall from front bumper. I have a dasj cam that runs in Parking Mode activated by motion detection. If someone comes to side of the car, the dashcam will see movement in the mirror and start recording due to motion detection. This way you can even see to back of the car on the mirror. I also have a rear dashcam taht is also motion activated.While I can see both sides of the car looking at the mirror, would prefer mirror to be wider. So, I will get 2 of them and put side by side. These small mirros are discreet versus a larger 12 inch diameter convex mirror.If someone tries to steal the mirror, they will beed to pry it off the concrete wall. And they will be recorded on the dashcam as all that motion will activate the recording.
