Not as good as buying from a medical supply store
You know,.... this headgear looks like, feels like, and even smells like the authentic ResMed headgear that I have been buying from legit medical supply stores for the past 14 years,....... but it's not. I do not believe that this is a legit ResMed. And yes, it has the ResMed tag on it, but that doesn't mean it's genuine. Amazon is flooded with counterfeit items. I gave it 3 stars because it does work,...today,....... but,..... the velcro does not hold all that well and will sometimes slip apart, and as soon as you put your mask on, the headgear stretches soooooo much that on day 1 with this thing, the velcro is at the same position as my genuine ResMed headgear that I am replacing after wearing it for over a year. So if you are in a pinch (like I was) and need new headgear right now (like I did), this will work ok right now, and for a little while. But it will not take long before the headgear straps have stretched so much that there is nowhere for the velcro to attach because they will be at the ResMed tag on the very back. You'll need a needle and thread at that point. If you don't need new headgear immediately, spend twice the money and get a genuine ResMed from a medical supply store because it will end up lasting 4 times longer than this product.UPDATE: The headgear is in the trash can after 2 1/2 months. It would have been in the trashcan 30 days ago, but I have been waiting for my genuine ResMed headgear to arrive. I never knew (always buying genuine Resmed headgear) that each strap is actually two ply. Well, ... every strap separated about a month ago and has stretched so far that the Velcro attachment is now past and on the other side of the Resmed logo in the rear. This headgear turned out to be a total piece of crap. Once again, if you need something for the next 3 - 4 weeks this headgear will (mostly) work. It will get you out of a jam right now, but don’t expect it to last long.

Does what it's supposed to do
My previous headgear strap lasted 8 years. Eventually it frayed and the velcro wouldn't stick. This one will probably do the same after several years, but several years seems like a reasonable life span.

Garbage, even though it says RESMED on it!
Product barley lasted two months before separation occurred (see Picture). I had a backup that was in decent shape until I could find a suitable replacement. I have a review on the replacement headgear that I just bought. Do not waste your money on this one the inner and outer material are of low quality and I am disappointed that this was made by RESMED as the original one lasted longer.
