Works great. But requires some strength.
Clean neat cuts even with very hard pills. But it does require some strength. My wife can't use it.

PRETTY MUCH WORTHLESS
It is impossible to hold the pill in the correct place with the lid closed....or open for that matter, the only way it will work is if you have a pill big enough to reach from one side of the cavity to the other, at which point you can probably break it faster with your fingers.

Don’t ignore the negative reviews
This is without a doubt the worst pill splitter I’ve used. Even if your pill is small enough to fit, you need to use tweezers to hold it in place, unless you have tiny fingers.
