I am blown away with this motorcycle dash cam, far better than any other one I have tried, including a well known brand, the picture quality is amazing, just remember it's 2K not 4K, I have powered mine with the USB socket under my seat, I did try taking a feed off the brake light, however I was getting a warning & failed rear brake light, everything works great now, it starts recording when the bike is running, I wish I had this installed yesterday, I would have had a guy caught nearly killing me on my side of the road on a bend in the road, it was a very close call, I have not tested these at night yet, I will update asap, definitely recommend these, I just hope they stand the test of time & unlike my other set I had that failed after a year....well known motorcycle dash cam company.

The kit looks complicated at first, but easy to install due to colour coding of plugs and fittings. Worth taking the time to make a neat and reliable project. The equipment includes GPS tracking, indicating speed and location information. The control unit has a clear screen and be powered from 5v USB or 12v DC

Easy to fit, everything included. Picture quality is excellent. Minor gripe, the included mounting bracket is flimsy, but I had jo intention of mounting this on the handlebars anyway, so not going to mark it down for that.

The media could not be loaded. I have been up in the air for a while about whether I truly needed a dash cam on my motorcycle, but now that I've installed it and I'm super thankful for it. Now I'm already enjoying that I have 2 extra camera angles besides my normal helmet cam that I can rip photos and videos from any time and the fact that I can set it to loop is even better. In this fashion, it is truly maintenance-free. Additionally, I feel better knowing that if there is an accident or legal issue, I'll have video evidence of what happened.The display was very bright and easy to see. I have no problem glancing at the display when I'm riding or at a stoplight, which is much easier than turning my head to look behind me. The wires were more than long enough. I probably could have wired these on a UTV. The connectors for the wires are high quality and waterproof. The camera quality was better than I expected.You have the option to power from the battery, switched ignition, or via USB...and the USB power makes it super handy for when you're installing and trying to get wiring and camera angles correct before you stick them permanently. Be aware that the installation is simple, but does take some time. It took me a couple of hours to wrap everything up.Overall, a great product.

The media could not be loaded. On my previous bike that i have sold last year I had a similar set of cameras and now because i bought a new bike it was mandatory to install a set.I had to look online at what options do i have and came across this one which was looking promising considering the fact that it has a 2K resolution which will allow me to zoom in the video and still see details at a for distance.So I bought it and considering I am not an expert and I knew is going to take me a lot of time to install it, I went to the bike service and as the professionals to do it. I m not really sure how long the process took because I didn't do it. For me particularly the most important is the functionality and of performance of this camera.There are two Sony cameras which have a a metal housing(obviously waterproof) and also strong protection where the lens is because when I write it might happen that grit will jump and I am sure that nothing will happen to the cameras.Related to the video quality( this aspect I know very well because I work as a professional videographer and I perfectly understand what good quality video is), this camera delivers a large video size I have literally checked the resolution during daytime it has good contrast between highlights and lows( to give you a better example in this case, when for example I ride in a tunnel where is dark and after in a matter of seconds it is very bright outside, the camera has the ability to adapt fast to adjust the image properly, so like this I will not miss any of recording).To start the camera it is very easy it has a controller which is mounted on the handlebar, and I can start the recording stop the recording at any time and also displays live view on the display.For example, when it is very sunny I can still see the image on the display and night time the camera performs I would say decent considering the places where I ride the most which is forest mainly.The built in quality of this camera is good, it is obviously waterproof( I have tested this because I rode outside for around hours and it was pouring and the camera didn't have a problem recording my whole journey).Overall, specifically for what I need this it does a good job so I have no complaints whatsoever.
