Serious Performance Issues Not Recommended.
Beware of reviews and ratings from NON Verified Individuals. Also these SuBlue units are advertised using different names that is why you will find 5 star ratings with no reviews There is trickery in advertising I have found. The unit is nice looking and very well packaged and the one hand operation is nice when it works. The unit I received had several problems.Any settings set using Bluetooth will be lost and default settings kick in. Bluetooth dropped continuously even when setting poolside beside the unit. (Very annoying)The unit is designed to lockout the Turbo Speed when the battery remaining power is down below 50%. My unit locked out Turbo with 75-80% Battery Power REMAINING every time. The unit has a low battery warning at 20% Battery Power Remaining it kinda of vibrates to let you know. What they don’t tell you is that any time below the 20% Battery Power Remaining the Unit will SHUT OFF and MOST OF THE TIME will not Power On so it has to be carried. (I did notice that if it sets for 5 minutes or so it will Turn Back On) but once you press the GO Switches it’ll power off.The Battery Cover is a bit to loose with a weak spring latch and can pop off during use and does not float. Noted during Turbo mode when making sharp turns or acrobatic maneuvers. The run times stated are exaggerated we could not get more than 45 minutes in Free (slowest mode from freshly charged battery) The Sport Mode 27 minutes was the best.Turbo well in 11 minutes of continuous use while the display screen showed 75% battery remaining the unit switched to the Sport mode every time. This DPV Underwater Scooter has several serious deficiencies and giving 2 stars is me being generous . For $998.00 there are many more less expensive options for a entry level Underwater Scooter.Manufacturer was contacted slow to respond and no help just down played my questions.Seller no help couldn’t even respond to the question, gave answer for specifics from manufacturers details.Typical to often these days. Substandard products rushed to market.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I went on vacation twice with the scooter and the packaging makes it pretty easy to fly with or even check as a bag. First time on vacation, had a BLAST with this scooter, snorkeling out from the beach. I never had any issues with the batter draining too quickly. The second time I went on vacation, I had used the scooter to go out to a reef and halfway there I got an error "Error 00 Remove Battery" evidently that means it is broke.Contacted Sublue who immediately send me a UPS slip to send the unit back and get it fixed (issue with main board or something like that). Sublue support was great, they made sure I submitted the scooter back to them and informed me of everything going on in the process. Once I sent the scooter back, I thought maybe get it in a couple of months, nope, within two weeks. Here's my 2 cents, every product you buy, there is a chance something is going to break. Everything we buy now is so complex there are many points of failure, and to judge a company on something like that isn't 100% fair. A company should be judged on their ability to quickly and adequately resolve issues. SuBlue resolved my issue and I am happy again. Don't regret my purchase at all!

Decomposing body.
DAY ONE FOUND A DEAD BODY. Works great purchased to snorkle. Found a dead body Day one using the product in oregon city clackamas River. Literally ran into a decomposing body lashed to a bad of bricks in the river. Fortunately I was able to help bring closure the family of this missing person by helping to locate them. Im impressed with the power of the unit. Turbo mode only works when battery is like 100%- 80% then will not work at lower battery levels. But very happy. 4.7 stars

So much fun!
I’ve been buying sea scooters for years now. The Yamaha ones are horrible and break all the time. I just have purchased about 6 of them over the years all ranging in price from $200 - $500. The problem with the Yamaha was the battery and the way it seals the water out. The unit would always open during water use and completely destroy the scooter. This one is a game changer. Not only does it go 4.5mph, but the battery compartment is completely submerged in water and doesn’t fail. I’ve been using the scooter for 2 months and it’s worked flawlessly for me and my kids.My only complaint with this unit is the design of the fans. They suck anything and everything in, including long hair, fingers, etc. My wife complains about its safety and it usually doesn’t come out for use with more than 2 kids in the pool. It’s expensive but well worth it so far. I hope to enjoy it for years to come.

Corrosion sets in fast
I cannot lie this thing was fun for the short few months it lasted. The motors (rotors) corroded and seized up within months even though I rinsed with fresh water after using in salt water. A $1000.00 waist of money. Called the company explained the problem and was told it would cost $400.00 to repair. Would not recommend this product.
