OspreyWomen's Kyte 36 Backpack Backpack (pack of 1)

First of all- I was able to get this pack at a Used/Open box price. It was in PERFECT condition and I was shocked it was so inexpensive.FIT- I bought an XS/S for my 12 year old daughter who is 5'1". It as a great fit for her and I love that it'll adjust with her as she grows. I am 5'7" and was also able to use it. I adjusted it past the lowest setting and it worked just fine.Osprey construction is always top notch. The zippers are smooth and all the adjustments work great.36L- Even though this is a 36L pack, we were able to go on a 2 night backpacking trip. She was able to fit everything on the inside, but had to attach her sleeping pad on the outside. I also used this pack for a 12 mile day hike. I needed something larger than a normal day pack b/c my daughter and I were hiking in very cold/windy conditions. This is a great versatile pack.Tiny Negatives- I do wish the brain adjusted from the back of the pack. There were times the pack was stuffed and the brain did not want to fully close. If there were adjustments in the back, it would have fit. I also wish there were one or 2 more smaller pockets.

I also included a photo of the KYTE 36 next to the KESTREL 48 that my husband ordered for comparison. We have all the same features except for size. I’m so excited to take this out on the trail and love that it’s a perfect size for carry on considering how much it can actually hold! Also, the features say there is no access to the main compartment, but my pack has a side zipper that accesses the main compartment. Happy surprise since I thought the Kyte 46 was the only one with the side zipper. Wonderful buy and definitely worth it!

would have loved this Backpack but had to send back because the hip belt padding was too small for me. I have a 35 inch hip. The padded part of the belt didn't go over my hip, it hit where the webbing rubbed mybone and was very uncomfortable loaded. The shoulders and back was very comfortable. I have 16" torso.

I had ordered the 36L in the women's S/M, it was to big,I sent it back and ordered the 36L XS/S.. Which is much smaller Liter wise... I am still trying to get this bag to work.. I really like the way this bag is put together..

Came without tags, and dirty (including grass seeds in some of the more obscure pockets).Sold as new, was clearly an item someone had returned after using it.Would I recommend this pack? Definitely. Don't forget that Osprey has a *lifetime* guarantee, so I'm not concerned about damage or defects from it not being new that I may discover in the future.Would I recommend this seller? Can't really say - the shipping was from Amazon so don't know where this mistake happened.
