St Cuthberts Mill Saunders Waterford Series 300gsm Satin Watercolour Pad 23 x 31 cm Single Sided Glued 12 Sheets Natural White

This is my first experience doing a watercolor painting on Saunders Waterford paper but I am Loving it! I've previously used Fabriano, Strathmore, Arches, and Stone Henge (all great papers) which I'll also continue to use but I found the texture and absorbency of the Waterford paper to be very nice and slightly different. I believe this will become one of my "go to" papers for many paintings in the future. I've also experimented briefly with both graphite and colored pencils and it seemed to take them well...I'm anxious to try some drawings once my painting is finished.

Yo lo uso para un tipo de acuarela muy detallada.Aguanta aguadas,retoques no se comba , absorbe perfectamente .No es blanco puro tiene cierto tono crema suave. Si cae alguna mancha pasas agua y un papel y se elimina .Compré grado satinado . Me encanta porque es resistente y delicado a la vez.Es la primera vez que lo uso ,ha resultado ser excelente.

Non è la mia carta per acquerello preferita. Si fatica a saturare i colori, anche con le sfumature ho avuto le mia difficoltà. Lifting e correzioni quasi impossibili. I colori sono difficili da saturare, rimangono un pochino sbiaditi. Poi, per essere una carta hotpress ha una texture più pronunciata di altre, non è liscia come per esempio la Arches. La trovo più rigida in confronto alla Canson Heritage o Clairefontaine. Fate attenzione, si tratta di una carta in bianco naturale, non è bianca pura. Tutto sommato è buona, ma ognuno deve decidere per se ed i suoi bisogni e preferenze.
