In the description of the product it says 'carbon fiber', I ordered 2m 40cm rod. What arrived is a nice fishing rod, but it is NOT a carbon fiber, it is different color than at the pictures, holder is different and lt is 2m10cm length.

Solid rod. Perfect to fit in my backpack for when I can sneak out at work and get a few casts in. Dont expect anything fancy, its a little stiff and the reel is a bit on the cheaper side, but for the price its a perfect.

For the size and lightness of the reel, the performance is surprisingly good. The rod is also surprisingly good material, with excellent sturdiness and springiness for the weight. The handle is very comfortable and attractive. I attach it to my backpack when I head to the mountains. Deploys and breaks down easily, so it’s reasonable for getting in and out of tough to reach mountain stream spots. It feels good in the hand, with a nice balance, making for smooth one-handed action. Rugged and enjoyable, it’s highly versatile. I employed a variety of fishing styles with it in the woods. Being so light, it’s appropriate for a wide age range. I would be be thrilled to have received this as a gift, I would recommend it for you or your backpacking friend.

Good telescopic rod. Very compact and fits nicely in a small backpack. Caught mackerel and rod and reel worked well.
