I had a complete knee replacement and I am 6 weeks out. My therapist has me doing sets of stretching exercises three times a day and I need to ice my knee afterwards to reduce the swelling. I have an ice machine that pumps cold water through a wrap. It works really well but I have to hook up a hose and it is a little inconvenient so I ordered this PhysioNatural ice wrap. It comes with a gel pack that can go in the microwave or freezer and a pouch to put it in to keep the gel pack off of your skin. I have only used it cold. It is fantastic. I leave it in the pouch and put it in the freezer with the net side up and it is ready to use in 2 hours just as advertised. It has two elastic straps to wrap it on your leg and they Velcro onto the wrap. the gel is soft and you can mold it to fit your leg or anywhere you want to use it. I use it for 20 minutes at a time about 3 or 4 times a day for and it is still very cold. If you put it right back in the freezer you could use it every 2 hours. This product works way better than I expected and is big enough to use on any part of your body I can't say enough about this and I recommend it to anyone .

This is the best gel ice pack I've come across. PhysioNatural thought through the details on this product and it's just what I needed. From my prior injuries and surgeries (not to mention my gymnast daughter's injuries), we have all sorts of gel ice packs in our house and freezer. Very high quality. My favorite of all the brands I’ve used. Plush pouch is just orders of magnitude nicer than any others, with an insulating side and a transmitting mesh side with easy connect for the straps anywhere on the insulating side. The cooling part is generously sized and holds it’s cool for a long time. Not too stiff like some others. Molds nicely around the injury. I bought two when I had a total hip replacement and they were a very important aid in my recovery. They reduced inflammation and pain and were easy to continually freeze and use—very important when you have limited mobility and rely on them for your recovery. You can also fold the inside part along the dividing lines to alter it to your specific desired profile width, which I did as my target icing site got smaller over time. Highly recommend!!

Thais is a great Ice pack it provides comfort after having rotator cuff, tendon repair, and Bicep reconstruction surgery. When I am in excruciating pain I put on this ice pack and it is large enough to cover the whole shoulder and wrap around the bicep for amazing relief. I am a big dude 320 pounds and 6'1" and this fits me great because of the stretch of the bands. I highly recommend this for anyone who is experiencing pain and swelling. My wife also uses it for her arthritic knee and hip pain which is why we purchased several to have available as needed.

I have a lot of experience with the use of cold and heat packs. I purchased this pack for use in the therapy for my wife’s rehab from rotator cuff surgery. The pack is flexible for the shape of the shoulder. It is very easy to recharge in the freezer. It comes with a cover which makes it easy to mold to the body and Velcro straps to keep it in place.I have a Biometric Ice machine which requires removing water and putting more ice in and a bulky box jacket that the patient cannot put on themselves. The technology and ease of use of the Physionatural ice therapy for the reduction of swelling and inflammation. It is the choice on many levels for helping to reduce pain and rehabilitate.
