The Pure Steel little tree air freshener is my favorite out of all the scents. Its is masculine but not like all the cheap cologne smelling ones that are on the market. This is in between a cologne and a new car smell.Did you know there is a proper way to open a Little Tree Air Freshener???Read the back label. It explains how to cut the top into a V shape and gradually over time pull out the top of the tree out of the packaging. This will actually ensure your Little Tree lasts alot longer... I only do this when I put them under my seats or on the side of my seats. When it is hanging from the rear view mirror I dont like having all that plastic wrapper hanging around.

I read somewhere that these little vanilla-scented trees, normally used in cars, worked in a chicken coop to repel flies. So, I ordered this package of 12 and hung one on the screen door of my little walk-in coop. I also hung six of them in various locations inside my little three-stall horse barn. Within a day, there were no flies whatsoever... they work like magic!I actually watched as flies headed for the coop, but did a u-turn when they got close to the door. They don't even come in the door of the barn, so when my three horses come inside to escape the flies, they really are free of them.Pros: They work, and they don't smell horrible. As far as I know, the scent has no negative effects on animals (I would not actually put one ON an animal, nor anywhere they could be reached or played with).Cons: It takes quite a few of them for the scent to pervade even a small barn.The scent doesn't last long, but I'm guessing it's because they need to be removed completely from the plastic wrap, whereas in a car you only expose a tiny bit at a time so you're not overwhelmed by the scent. Mine are still working after two months, but the scent has faded significantly.Overall, a good value!

I bought the leather scented trees, and it makes me wonder if the manufacturer has ever smelled leather before. This scent is a mix of sweet tobacco and Lysol. Terrible... I took it out of my car within 5 minutes of smelling it.Had it smelled like leather, I believe the quality of the tree would have lasted a long time and would have permeated throughout the car just like the terrible non-leather smell did.

We just got a new car (new to us), a couple of years old actually. It didn't have that new car smell to it, and although we didn't expect it after being used for two years, we asked the salesman if the new cars still have that smell. He said that they don't anymore. So my daughter got out this Black Berry Clove car air freshener and put it in the car. It had the most wonderful scent to it. We were wondering where we might get more of them, at an affordable price, so when I saw this on Amazon for a 12-pack and at such a reasonable price, I jumped at the chance to buy it. It arrived today, and now we have our year's supply of air fresheners for our "new" car!

I normally wouldn't bother to leave a review for something like little trees BUT after seeing the cute little not with the =) from Stephanie(I'm a big fan of Stephanies) I couldn't not write something.That all being said...Fast, convenient, and good value.I’ll be buying my trees from Stephanie from now on

These do not smell like genuine leather to me. However, whenever anyone gets in my car, they do tell me it smells like leather. I don't know if it really smells like leather, or if they see the leather seats and assume the scent is leather. To me, it smells more like a new vehicle. Not just "new car scent", but an actual new vehicle. I love the scent of this leather tree, I just don't think it smells like you may think it smells. It is very hard to describe scent.

I just fell in love with this scent years and years ago unfortunately in my city there are no stores that sell it so I turned to Amazon and I am glad I did! Everyone who gets in my car loves this scent and always talks about how good my car always smells. Because I only use this scent in my car I believe the smell lingers a little and my car always smells fresh. I wish the tree would last longer but hey I just love this smell so much it doesn't matter.

I don’t know how long this would last since I threw the one I opened in the trash the same day. It was only in my car for about an hour and I’m still trying to get the smell out 2 weeks later. I gave them to someone in a Buy Nothing group who said her husband liked them. She also said she never gets in his car because it smells so bad. I was disappointed because they were cute and I liked having the no smoking sign. Perhaps I’ll order one with a smell I’ve heard of.

I ordered this product it was two peach air fresheners on the outside with 10 coconut air fresheners on the inside would not buy again and 10/10 would not recommend to anyone
