OntelMagic Tracks Monster Truck Rally Glow in The Dark Racetrack Set with 10 Feet of Speedway

OK, first off - we really love Magic/Neo/Twister Tracks. We have a number of different sets. Recently we grabbed the one with the single car and remote, along with the Rocket Racers and an off brand, dinosaur-themed set. All of which were excellent! This however, has a major flaw.The jump ramp seems like an afterthought. It looks nothing like the picture on the box. It's like the box graphics were designed before the physical product. Even worse, its the connection to the track makes zero sense, and the instructions are laughable to say the lease. Oddly enough, the ramp is able to move back and forth like a see-saw, yet, it's not meant to do that! It's a ramp - and it's supposed to let the truck fly off and onto the lower track. Here's the kicker: one side of the ramp is blocked, like a dead end, so the only way we got this to work was to lay the proceeding track over it so it the truck wouldn't be stopped. It's like the manufacture designed this ramp piece wrong. Between that, and the see saw spring built in, my bet is, this was meant to originally do something else, but it failed, so they left it that way and simply called it a jump ramp. At 29.95, that's a disgrace. This is the only set we sent back. Most of the high ratings you see are for the other themes (firetruck, police set, etc..), so proceed with caution.

The Dino chomped is broken and has to be left in the off position. Bought for Christmas ahead of time now it’s too late to return and my son is heartbroken. It’s just wrong to sell products that don’t work for kids :( the Jeep is great, track is average no special elevations or turns to make it fun just flat.

This dinosaur set is junk. The truck doesn’t have an on/off switch so you put batteries in SCREW the plate in place then have to unscrew it to take them out once done playing. Doesn’t make sense. There should be an on/off switch like the other cars have. Also like everyone else said, the Dino is crap. The track doesn’t hook into the Dino or fit flush with it so every time the truck comes to the Dino head it flies Off the tracks and zooms around the house.

Am I a fan of the Magic Tracks and the Magic Tracks vehicles? Not sure! They are fun for young kids and can provide various track building challenges. But, this Police Station is a piece of junk and I will have to glue it to stabilize it. The ramp is also weak and falls easily. The Hot Wheels tracks and systems are far superior and more durable. Thinking of a purchase? Just get the set with tracks and vehicles!

The concept here is really cool. What little boy doesn’t like monster trucks. The only issue I have is with some of the parts. The ramp comes apart very easily and my boys have a hard time putting it back together. I ended up gluing it together so I wasn’t constantly having to put it together for them. The little rails on the crushed cars didn’t last long in my house. One broke because it wouldn’t stay on and the other was lost. Without them the cars will go off track so it would have been nice if they were all fixed together as one piece instead of separates. Overall my boys love it. Just minor issues to watch out for.
