Grandmothers Pie Filling Fig

Purchased several jars at local grocery store in NH as I was not able to find product in home state of NC. I have used it in the past and have been very happy, however recent purchase was a huge disappointment as the consistency was not the same as I remember. It was so watery I was not able to use in baking. I wrote to the company, and got no response. I would like to reorder, but am hesitant has the mixture changed?
