Adjustable and sturdy as advertised. BUT
Just put this together, so an update will be forthcoming after I have owned and used for a while. See end of article for updated info.I have a bad back, and when I wore out my old office chair I really wanted new one to be as good ergonomically as possible. Ventilated back and padded seat were two of my requirements, as well as the adjustability that will make a chair work for me. I really would have preferred to be able to try it out in a store before buying, but store options did not measure up, and were mostly over-priced. This one did not have a lot of reviews, but only a couple of comments were negative comments in reviews. There was enough info on the Amazon page , that I decided this one was a good bet. It was an added bonus that it was cheaper than most of the competition (I did not buy it simply for the price)Assembly: Easy, but I had two minor problems:1 - the first was my fault. BE SURE TO USE THE RIGHT SCREWS IN THE RIGHT PLACE! User error here had me complaining I could not get screws for arms to go in - the screws I was trying to use were the wrong ones for that location (too short). Pay attention to the letters on the bags identifying what goes where.2 - inserting feet in legs. They will go in a lot easier with a little lube. I used some silicone spray that worked.CUDOS: on the packaging of parts A bag of screws would be labeled as + 1 in instruction counts indicating an extra was included.. Did you ever come up short a screw when assembling, or mess up threads on a screw so you could not complete the assembly. Not this time. The extra screw might be your savior too.Everything adjusts as advertised. The adjustment range for the headrest is great, and good for different seating positions if you desire. Variable tilt lock works fine, and in conjunction with the sturdy foot rest, will allow me to recline in it to watch my monitor as a TV when desired.Tilt and rocking: I am not sure what they count as rocking. The seat does not rock, it is fixed angle. The back angle can change, or lock wherever wanted. I am not sure how they measured back tilt. In one place it says 135 degrees, in one picture they depict a sleep picture of 155 degrees. My estimates are only 110 or 120 degrees of recline. My only complaint. I wish the seat was deeper or would at least tilt a little. Measuring bottom depth online is hit and miss, because it is not just the seat itself, but how far the back lets you go (contours and lumbar support push you out). This was the only comfort issue I had with the chair. The padded upholstered seat is fine otherwise.8/15/22No response from vendor regarding the tilt capabilities of chair. I tried question on product page, but input there did not seem to work. I then tried writing to address given on the card provided with package. Three days later, and not even an acknowledgement. I tried asking question via Amazon. No response from them either. At the least this downgrades my rating of the vendor. The question of tilt angle remains. From any measurement I have tried, it falls short of 135° or 155° advertised. More like 110° to 120°There are installation holes with slots that allow some adjustment of seat depth, but it is less than half an inch of variation. This is not enough to make up for the deficiency. Since the the seat will not tilt at all, and does not taper much on front edge it causes discomfort. I have only been able to counteract that by lower seat (which makes me have to reach up for keyboard).Sorry about all of this, because there is a lot to like about this chair. The lack of response by the vendor is what will probably assure that I return the product - as much of a nuisance as that may be.9/1/22:My tried it for a few days and had to give up. Just not comfortable for me. I ended up sending it back. Heads up - if you never tried to disassemble and package a chair like this for return, good luck. Harder to take apart than it was to put together. In fact, never did get pneumatic tube of chair seat. An of course, it would have been difficult to get it back into the original box even if I had been able to get all the parts separated. So, I had to go hunting for a box - U-Haul had something that worked.Cudos to Amazon - although the vendor never did respond to my queries, I was able to do return via UPS with them picking up this bigger box, which I could not fit into my car.

Solid and comfy ergonomic work chair
I gave this chair as a gift for my sister on her birthday, and overall she is enjoying it very much. Her one complaint is that the arms are a wee bit too far apart from one another, even though we attached them at the very narrowest possible (there's only an inch of lateral play in each arm). The slide, lift, and rotation adjustments of the arms are all very good, as is the firm padding. She is 5 foot 5 inches tall and slender, and that should be regarded as the minimum height this chair will fit. She has the seat all the way lowered, which puts it 17 inches off the floor, and her heels barely touch. She has the headrest on its next to lowest setting. She has the lumbar support on its lowest height setting--all the way down, and the support is good. If she were any shorter, none of these settings would work for her. The foam seat cushion is comfy. The web backing good. The headrest fits her neckline well enough. The castors are of excellent quality and roll very well even on carpet (which roller blade wheels do not). The spring action lean on the back was the right tension for her on the factory setting, though this is adjustable. Being able to clamp the back at any desired angle is a big plus. The chair is robust, the parts fit snugly, and assembly was straightforward, the instructions adequate. All parts were present and in excellent new condition, and a spare screw was included for each screw type, with the appropriate 5 mm Allen wrench supplied as well. The castors were a little resistant to installation, but the secret is too turn them in towards the center of the chair whilst installing and then push them into their sockets, the extra leverage making it doable for us weaklings. We chose the model without the footrest. All in all, a highly recommended chair, and my sister gives it 4.5 stars, which I rounded down.

Great chair but fabric is a bit rough
So far, I really like this chair except that the fabric is a bit rough and uncomfortable. I put a sheet over it and it helps. Not very attractive though.

The footrest design is flawed.
PLEASE NOTE: The footrest is an obvious add-on and not designed for this chair. The footrest came already attached to the chair in a way that the chair height adjustment lever gets in the way. If you even nudge the footrest, the chair "drops" suddenly. The metal lever is too thick to be bent out of the way. I removed the footrest entirely and otherwise the chair functions well and is comfortable. I will keep it but I am disappointed because the footrest was the main selling point for me in the first place.

Warranty and Lumbar - What You May Not Know
Like you, I read all the reviews. I found the positive reviews to be accurate. Some of the negative ones not so much. I will not dwell on all the positives - they all appear true. I can tell you that I have written LMIKAF Support and asked them what the warranty is on this chair. This is their response "Please note: The office chair is guaranteed for 3 years under normal use." I think this is great.Lumbar support is excellent if you know how to adjust it. Counter Clockwise increases the support, Clockwise decreases the support - just the opposite of what you might expect. One last point - a customer had asked if the chair would fit in a 26" opening width. The response was No the chair is 32" wide. I set the exterior width of the handles at the narrowest point and exterior to exterior width was 26.77". True it will still not work for a 26" opening, but it WILL work for a 27" opening.Pros - EverythingCons - I have not found any yet, but will keep you informed.Bottom line - this chair exceeded every expectation I had for it. I highly recommend buying this chair - particularly if you have back issues. Great buy. Hope this helps you.
