Well-constructed, well-cut, thick enough so as not to break. Larger than the average outlet.In the photo, these are a light-colored wood and this is an accurate depiction, but when I installed them, their color darkened quite a bit because they were no longer up to the light. Attaching photo so you can see what I mean. They're cut well but since they're wood, they're bound to have little nicks and shavings so I hand-sanded them a little (easy to do). They come with tiny brown screws so if you need screws longer than .25 inch, you may have to make a trip to the hardware store. Make sure you look at your outlets and get the right type; I made the mistake of getting too many of these when some of my outlets don't have one screw in the middle (they have two -top and bottom). If you decide to paint them, make sure to sand them first by hand and use a small roller to apply the paint. If you use a brush or a squeegie, the paint will build up or leave marks. If you are creative and want a DIY lightswitch, this is an excellent base to add clay to.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these were, and how reasonably they were priced. We tiled and were left with problem outlets. The back of these covers have a metal plate, and that worked really well for us, and made our problem outlets look great. I did not even have to sand these, they took spray paint like a dream. would have been nice if they were sanded and ready to be finished, but be aware that you will need to finish sand these before use.

I have a room with a burgundy accent wall and the standard almond colored outlet covers stick out like a sore thumb. I painted these to match the wall and they blend in perfectly. I wish they sold a 3 toggle + GFI one too but no luck.

Not very well made. Some wood was rough to the point it needed to be ground down, some wood was split. I won't be buying these again.

Minor sanding and or filing is needed, all had open grain with “fir” like bristles where they routed against the grain.

I absolutely love these! Since they are a light wood, they were PERFECT for staining to match the colors of our floors! We only stained and installed one, but it turned out absolutely gorgeous. The only bummer is that they are bulky and they stick out from the wall a bit. Other than that, I highly recommend this product.

Very happy with this product. It is unfinished, so I can stain it or just put a clear gloss on it whichever I like.

These are oversized and look tacky. Try Home Depot instead.

Stain any color you like.
