We bought this for our 11 year old granddaughter that is just now starting to write notes and her thoughts/dreams. I had one 60 years ago (and still have it) and thought this would be a good start for her. Loved the color and it is perfect.

It can definitely be used by an adult. This is mainly because of the quality of the journal and the attention to details.It comes in a nice box. The PU leather doesn’t look or feel cheap. The cover is very soft and the imprint looks really nice and is even. The pages are cut even and are of a weight suitable for journaling. The gilt edges of the pages give the journal a more sophisticated feel. The lock and key is a cute touch. Be sure to remove the plastic protective covering on the key.I was pleasantly pleased with the look and feel of this journal. It is definitely giftable. The only addition I would have liked is a pen loop. I took one star off since this journal is a bit pricey.

This is the only thing in the order that I got for myself which means I was able to fully look at it. Exactly what I ordered...I love it.

This is the ugliest and cheapest notebook ever, everything has imperfections and for £18 this is so embarrassing, not worth the price at all. As if that wasn’t already enough, the lock doesn’t even close, it’s broken.Don’t buy this rubbish it’s really disappointing, I’m surely going to return this garbage asap.

The book looks cheap and not as pretty as in the photos. The lock Cake in a little bag that was smudgy inside and the lock was broken.I also had to pay to post it back. A small post refund is promised. Lets hope that happens.Disappointed! Don’t bother buying. It’s not worth the price.

After less than 2 days of use, the paint on the cover started to peel off.I didn't ask for a refund because the person I gave it as a gift has already started using it and doesn't want to lose the notes. I am very disappointed with the product.
